I had this problem last night. The update appeared in the Amazon app store on my Android phone, but not my Kindle Fire (even after manually checking for updates). As of this morning, it seems to have updated on its own and I have the new tables. It's a little strange, but not a big deal.

It feels like Amazon is still working through the introduction of their in-app purchase functionality =\ should work now.
