Advice for Running SPA - 4 Devices, No Luck

SPA will not run on my iPad (no IOS 10)
nor my iMac (not supported)
nor Parallels (DX11 not supported)
nor my two year old PC because it has DX12?

I understand the first three but shouldn't it run on the PC with DX12?
Or is it not backwards compatible?
Seems like a really narrow window.

What GPU does your 2 year old PC have?

For the most part, and again this is generalized, SPA will run so long as you are not using an integrated GPU.

You need a dedicated video card for SPA.

Go check out Best Buy....You can get a GPU that's not too expensive that will give you the oomph needed to run SPA and TPA in DX11.

Where did you get this information?

The oficial minimum system requirements are:

OS: Windows 7
Processor: Dual Core 1.6 ghz or better.
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Graphics card supporting DirectX 11.0 and Shader Model 5.0
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 4 GB available space
Sound Card: Direct Sound capable Card

I have the same problems with an integrated Intel HD 4000 GPU. This chip support DirectX 11 and Shader Model 5.0. TPA runs slow in DirectX 11. SPA always terminate with this screen:

That's true for a Desktop PC. Any hints for a notebook?

If you go to the SPA store page on Steam right now, it shows this:

  • RECOMMENDED:
    • OS: Windows 10
    • Processor: Dual Core 2.0 ghz or better.
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: nVidia GTX 660 or higher. AMD R9-270X or higher.
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 4 GB available space

The other way I know that this is true is I have a laptop with both integrated video and a dedicated card. SPA will not run with one, but runs with the other. Guess which is which. :D
