Question about Pinball.org tut vids

It's probably a dumb question, but I can't figure out why the player on this video sometimes just uses only his right hand to control both flippers.
When I first saw it I thought maybe he only had one arm, but then you see his other hand.. So ??

Bowen's showing off there. If you go about 7 minutes in (whenever his first game is over), he even comments "let's see if it goes any better using both hands". On his second game he plays traditionally.

Yeah? Well he's a much better player than I'll ever be, but it would be a more impressive showing off if he didn't keep losing the ball during it. ;)

One of the things I like about Bowen's videos is the instructive way he comments on his own mistakes. He also does commentary on PAPA championship videos.

Huh, I just found out he's a mathematics teacher by trade. That makes a lot of sense. I'd bet he's a good one.
