Apple 30-pin To HDMI cable for LCD gameplay?

Yes, artwork looks great but framerate lags with an ipad 3, might be better with a 4th gen ipad though as it's specs improved? Also might be better with an Apple TV?

I have an ipad2 with official hdmi adapter and TPA lags when plugged into my TV. It lags on the TV AND on the ipad2's screen. Unplug it and the ipad plays silky smooth again. I wasted £40 on that adapter for TPA use, don't fall into the trap!!
If you can disable the local screen in the game the tv output should be much smoother, this may be something Farsight need to enable as default support is a pseudo mirror of the local screen scaled to the lower resolution of the LCD display which lags behind.
Example of it working well is real racing or bee leader.
