Malevolence the Infinite RPG has just opened their public Beta up.

Malevolence is an Old School first person RPG. The world is infinite and persistent, movement is grid - turn based, NPCs quests and all that fun stuff.
I haven't installed it yet, but for disclosure I am a Kick Starter backer of this game.
