I think it won game of the year for mobiles...therefore the edition we have IS the game of the year edition.

I'm guessing he's looking for a physical media release on PS3 (as this was posted under a PS3 header).
They did this for the PSN only game Journey and packaged it with 2 other titles from the same studio.
In answer to the question though, FarSight is done with physical media. They have talked about there possibly being a sale in the future, probably for PS+ members, but that's it. So far Pro Packs are the only thing that has gone on sale, and that was for mobile platforms.
