Hello Pinball Arcade Fans! This is the Pinball Guru, player of the Pinball Arcade on PS3 and Xbox 360! Today I want to discuss the possibility of adding one of my favorite childhood pinball tables, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends to the Pinball Arcade! As a 6 year old, I remember blasting quarter after quarter into this machine! The addition of racking up free games made this table my favorite! It was made by Data East (who became Stern Pinball Inc. in the 2000's), and featured my favorite Multiball mode of all time. If anyone believes this table should be on the Pinball Arcade, let me know! If not, I understand. Later.

I like this one too. I've played the real machine quite a bit. It's one of the better Data East pins.

I always forget this one. You all are right, it is one of their better tables. Just never comes to mind.

Looks like a fun table. And considering it's a Universal license shouldn't be too hard to get.

I love this game, it has an Awesome Playfield and lots of ramps. I hope they have this game at Freeplay Florida in November. Me wants to play it real bad, haven't played one since the late 90's in a bowling alley I used to go to and play Pinball Machines, lot's of this game. I love the colors just like Rollercoaster Tycoon.

Any reason why we only have seen one Data East table to this point?

Secondary licensing.

I suppose they could do something like Checkpoint or Laser War, but those aren't really the most requested tables.

I learned here that Checkpoint would probably require an expensive license. The playfield & backglass have pics of Porsches, and the playfield has a little Porsche car with Porsche logo, and "Carrera" is written several places. See: http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=498

However: I can't find mention of a license anywhere on IPDB, or in the pics or flyer, or the word "Porsche". It's kind of strange.

Invitro have you ever been accused of being the bearer of bad news?
Well, people keep telling me that I'm probably no fun at parties. But it doesn't make any sense for them to say that, because I never get invited to parties. :(

From invitro's research previously:

Universal Pictures
Advs. of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Fr. D DE 1993-02 108 7.73/74 Y
Jurassic Park D DE 1993-04 28 8.05/174 Y
The Flintstones D W 1994-07 Universal made the 1994 movie, but Warners owns the cartoon rights.
Shadow D B 1994-11 25 8.07/202 Y Shad
Apollo 13 D Se 1995-10 93 7.79/54
Waterworld D G 1995-10 -- Y
Barb Wire (Gramercy) D G 1996-04 167 7.49/19 Y
Lost World Jurassic Park D Se 1997-06 264 7.11/44
The Big Lebowski (Gramercy) Du 201?-?? Y

This seems like the only Universal table that shouldn't require too much external licensing. Really seems like it should be making an appearance sometime in the future.
