(on the PS3) I don't know if this is related, but I had a captive upper level ball which was ejected when I lost a ball. So, the bug behavior:
On the next ball in the game, after sending a ball into the lower playing field,
the camera didn't change to a close-up of the lower playing field, although there was only one ball in play. Later during the same game, the re-entry light pointed to the flippers but the gate was closed.
