Using an iPad 2, iOS version one update short of newest.
When you call attendant another ball is added to the trough.
You can do it at beginning of game before even launching 1st ball.
If one ball drains the current turn will be over, but you can start the game with 2, and any time you launch a ball, you can launch with two of them.
