Resolution higher than 1920x1200, possible?

Any hidden setting or command line option to set higher resolution?

I need 2560x1600.

Found Settings.ini, but it seems to be binary.

Changed settings to fullscreen and now it crashes and no longer runs. Deleting all files from Pinball Arcade in My Games helps.

I added support for 2560x1600 and 2560x1440. I unfortunately don't have a monitor to test them on. So I'm going to ask you to try them for me in the next update.

Yeah cant select 2560x1440 either the highest it goes up to is 1920x1200. Also at 1920x1200 there are alot jagged edges on everything, is there no AA option at all? I guess we could try and enable AA through our graphics card control panel and force AA

Thanks, I'll give it a try as soon as the new beta becomes available.

Instead of adding display modes manually, can't you just use the DirectX API to list all the resolutions supported by the display and present the choice to the users? Most other games seem to do exactly this.

During the beta test it may be helpful to specify display mode via command line or config section so that users can try different modes and see how it works.

Wow, that was fast!

I've had a try and while 2560x1600 works, it seems to be upscaled. See screenshot for comparison:

At the left, the game's running at 1920x1080 windowed, on the right 2560x1600 windowed also.

Not only the texture but also 3D objects such as the flippers seem fuzzy. Anything I've missed or is that a bug?

Cheers!

EDIT: Fullscreen, which used to crash at startup, now works! However, the fuzzy visuals mentioned above are still the same in fullscreen.

Had a few more tries. Now with 0.010, there seems to be progress. When de-activating post-processing, it looks like this (on the right):

Can't say if it looked like this without post processing in v0.009 because I didn't try.

However, now if I turn on post-processing at 2560x1600, everything is extremely slow, including the menu. I get less than a frame a second, the counter on the bottom left jumps between 5 and 15 but gets updated only once every few seconds. Playing is impossible, it's a slide show.

I don't suppose it's a GFX card issue since it's so laggy even if no game is started.

Had the same issue because of the customized AA. Fixed it by lowering AA from 16x to 8x.
