Sometimes the ball, when at low speed, warps from the right loop (the one that advances the clock) to the right ball-exit that moves along over it (the one that carries the ball if you shoot the left entry to the loop).
To clarify I added a picture
So basically it jumps from the ground floor to the second floor where they graphically cross ways.
Happened to me 3 times total. Nothing earhshattering as it's not incredibly common and your ball stays safe, but it's a tad weird nonetheless.
