Wow, that is the lamest kickstarter I've ever seen.

I mean, literally. Lame rewards, even lamer description... how the )(@*&%# did you even find it? Looked like it was kicked out in 5 minutes without a thought to how anyone other than his 3 friends would see it.

That is pretty bad. I feel for him because of his physical condition (if it is true) - but how did he ever think a KS set up like that would sell???

I think it's a scam. Looking up his name, he comes up as asking for money randomly from Indian, from India, millionaires on news articles, and he is, or claims to be, an actor. Then there is the page that he setup: a 3d, avatar based chat room for vampire sword trading. :/

I think it's a scam too. In 9 YEARS he hasn't been able to program this thing, yet we can expect a demo after 1 month ? The video doesn't show anything except for a vague picture of a table and a martian ? So basically he has NOTHING right now, and he promises a demo version in 1 month without being able to program anything for it. Good luck with that.

I'm a programmer myself. If you are really interested in game programming, spend 9 years on trying to make something and still fail ... there isn't much hope :eek: He doesn't need 3D artists, he needs a reality check.

Worse than that, it says that the idea was first conceived in 1994 so it's taken him 19 years to get this far!

LOL, I actually miscounted :) it's 2013 now, not 2003. I probably miscounted because my mind can't comprehend the stupidity of all this. NINETEEN years.

I can't see how it can be - it's a Kickstarter, if he doesn't reach full funding he doesn't get a penny. And asking for 450K in not too many days... he's not likely to.

I think Jared nailed it.

Also, it's maybe best not to hold a mirror too close to Farsight on this one. After all, they still owe me 2 Kickstarter rewards they haven't come good on.

I found it by typing "pinball" into the search field, it's the second result next to Timeshock to show up. ;) It has actually been amusing me for weeks now, and I thought I should finally share the fun. *g*

Not just a demo! A free demo! You know, as opposed to a demo one has to buy.
