Well, we've seen a bunch of games like this. There's some for Pokemon, some for other games. So, why not do one for TPA?

Rules:

Judges will be picked how? I'll be the judge to start, but others may join in whenever they want. Up to five judges can play.
By answering questions, you'll earn pinballs. The amounts are as follows:

1,000,000 pinballs (AAAAAUAUUAUUGHHHH!!!)
500,000 pinballs (TRIIIIPLE JACKPOT!!)
250,000 pinballs (DOUUUUUBLE JACKPOT!)
125,000 pinballs (JACKPOT!)
64,000 pinballs
32,000 pinballs + checkpoint!
16,000 pinballs
8,000 pinballs
4,000 pinballs
2,000 pinballs
1,000 pinballs + checkpoint!
500 pinballs
400 pinballs
200 pinballs
100 pinballs
0 pinballs

Starting at zero, a correct answer moves you to the next pinball amount. If you surpass a checkpoint and get one wrong, you win that amount of pinballs. Now the Rules:
1. Each question will be asked by a judge and there will be four multiple choice answers given.
2. The person in the hotseat is chosen by the Fastest Finger Question, or the FFQ. The first person to correctly answer an FFQ is in the hotseat.
3. Only the person in the hotseat may answer questions.
4. A person has 48 hours to answer the question. If they don't answer it within 48 hours, they will be thrown out of the hotseat.
5. Please, no spamming, flooding etc... in the thread... But I know you won't do that
6. Each person has five lifelines to use at any time, but once a lifeline is used, it cannot be used again.
7. Try to share it around and don't go in the hotseat two times close together.
8. Only judges may ask questions. Any person who asks a question who is not a judge or doesn't have a judges permission will have their question ignored.
9. If a non-judge wants to ask a question, they must first PM it to a judge and get the judge's approval.
Lifelines:
1. Next City (See? HD3E reference.)
You may skip to the next question. Cannot be used after the 32,000 pinballs question.
2. Last Chance
A new question is asked, but for the same amount of pinballs. Cannot be used after the 125,000 pinballs question.
3. Ask the Pinheads
Anybody may post their answer, but after 48 hours, the person in the hotseat must answer based on what they saw.
4. Secret Jackpot
The person may PM anyone they want (except the judge asking the question) for their answer.
5. Double Playfield
The person may post 2 answers.

You may also run and take the pinballs that you have at any time.

First FFQ:

Place these Multiballs from least to greatest (depending on how many balls they have).

1. Total Anhilation + Martian Multiball stack (AFM)
2. Gold Rush (WH2O)
3. Monster Multiball (SS)
4. Final Frontier (STTNG)

Chickens, Balls.

Unless you're trying to be sneaky and including Chickens in "... livestock and treasured historical monuments!" or mistaking it for Children :/

  • "I'll drink to that!"
  • "Let's revolt, who's with me?"

Are we allowed to look things up on the internet?

Without looking I'd say...

Police Force
Kingpin
Indiana Jones
Slugfest

I've never even heard of Slugfest.

This is a touch late, but I think the answer is B (I can't quite tell, but they sound noticeably less upset over that than either their pinball machine or their children).

Yes. And by the way, D does happen, it's just a rare quote.

500 Pinballs:

In Junkyard, which previous mode cannot be played through the Time Machine award?

A: Black Knight 2000 (Knight Mission)
B: Terminator 2 (Payback Time)
C: Attack from Mars (Saucer Attack)
D: The Addams Family (THUHHHH MAMUSHKAAAA)

Also, keep in mind that you have Lifelines: these can be displayed at the top of the board.

I'm pretty sure the answer is B–if what I've heard is true, they wanted to have Payback Time, but it got dropped for unknown reasons.

Yes. Payback Time was actually in early revisions of the ROM, but it got cut out because of unbalanced scoring (1 million points per shot).

1000 Pinballs: If you get this question correct, you will advance to a Checkpoint. If you answer any question before the next Checkpoint, you will receive this number of pinballs and leave.

Which of these is a game where you can "stack" features on top of each other?

A: Funhouse
B: Jokerz!
C: Mousin' Around!
D: Bad Cats (meow meow meow meow... Sorry, wrong thread.)
