Hi :)

which Graphic card will we need to bring the real-time lighting/reflections of the PS4 version to the PC version?
Will a ATI or nVidia Card be better?
On which card programming the FS-Team?
Which are in the VirtuaPin? (Cab support)

At the moment i have a old Radeon HD4850 and PA runs fine in DX9@1920x1080.
But which card will i need for DX11@ max. settings?

Because of my old system (AMD Phenom II x4 955BE) i will prefer a
- GeForce GTX 660
- ATI r9 270 or better a cheap
- ATI r7 260x! (ATI 7790)

Please help :D
Greets,
Longi

Virtuapin's use Nvidia cards in their cabs. I believe they are GTX 660 for PF and 8400's for the Backglass and DMD (if not using PinDMD).

They claim the PS4 can do 1.8 TFlops processing power. That is similar to a GTX 660.

If you are going to go with a 660, I would suggest the 660 ti as it is a little more powerful for the same or nearly same money. Most of our PC's here are GTX 660s, so the lighting will definitely work on those (or ATI equivalent)

since the ps4 uses an (modified) amd gfx card
i hope that we amd users don't run into problems this time (like the old aa bug)

modern pcs are more powerfull compared to a ps4
on paper the pc version should be the most beautifull version

How scalable will it be? Or is it an all or nothing deal?

Not really sure yet.

We didn't have an ATI chip in the office here before, we do now, so that won't be a problem moving forward.

I bought a AMD r9 270x :p
Now it's possible to connect up to six monitors on this card (eyefinity).
Pretty amazing!
Maybe we don't need a second card in the future for a three screen PinCab!? :)
Now I am ready for DX11, let it roll FS
