Is it true that next-gen grahpics are a PS4 exclusive?

There's been a lot of talk that Sony would not allow TPA as a launch title unless it holds the monopoly on next-gen graphics. Is this true that other platforms which could support it (such as XBOne and PC) won't get it because of this?

You have more to worry about with Microsoft's indie publishing rules, to be honest. Sony are the good guys when it comes to this.

When it comes to the Playstation Store, however...

No to the OP.

Once again, I quote Mike Reitmeyer:

"Also want to clarify. Sony and Microsoft do NOT pay developers for exclusivity. Maybe really large developers, but not small ones. Usually it's more like "give us something exclusive or be excluded from our platform"

In the case of PS4, Sony asked that the PS4 version look next gen. So we implemented that functionality. Afterwards decided that it should be on PC as well."

Interesting that Sony requested the graphical upgrade. Wonder if they would have just ported it as is without that demand.

Also interesting that Sony didn't demand to Zen that Zen Pinball 2 looked next gen on PS4...

So does that mean we'll see the graphical improvements on the PC as well?

Yes.

No actually this is probably one of the dumbest things I've heard in a while man. Stay away from Gamefaqs. Or VGChartzzzz or whatever.

This almost sounds like a parody of the M$ publishing exclusivity clause.

Or maybe someone is poking fun at that the resolution is less on the One than on the PS4 on some titles. "Its not that the One can't handle 1080p its just that Sony has an exclusive on 'next Gen graphics' for the PS4." :D
