Weird XBox 360 controller mapping!

Is anybody using a wired 360 controller for TPA on a Mac? For some reason, the home button is mapped to the left flipper and up on the D-pad is the right flipper! Do I need to use something like Gamepad Companion for TPA or is something wrong with my setup?

I used Enjoy2 to configure a wired 360 controller.
Some times it worked great, other times I would pull my hair out trying to reconfigure it.
eventually I got accustom to using the keyboard and just didn't bother with the 360 controller
Most definitely an improvement than just plugging in without anything though
