The BOOM! value slowly grows throughout the entire course of the game, and at the end of the wizard mode is a Party Multiball where, among other things, all three bumpers score the full BOOM! value. Toss two or three balls in the pops during this point and have them rattle back and forth a bit, and even with a low base value, your score is going to skyrocket.
Otherwise, it's just there for the extra ball and to look pretty. Sort of like Neon Multiball.

It's also a great feature to make balls that happen to travel over the bumper as it deploys to smash into the playfield glass and scare the living frack out of you.

I just wish this was simulated in PA. Same goes for the Trolls in MM.
This needs to be simulated, I agree..lol
