A few random observations and trivia on my pinball experiences in 2012, of no particular importance:

- I've managed exactly 1337 posts to end the year. This was not deliberate. Also 27 blog posts.
- For reasons known only to God (or maybe to Gord Lacey, if this forum has statistical features I'm not aware of), the blog post No Time for Tea has been viewed 8895 times, making it far and away the most popular post on Lost in the Zone. The post only contains congratulations to one of my fellow league players for scoring 8 billion on one ball on AFM. Either he has a lot of friends, or a lot of people are ending up here after a Google search looking for a blog about tea and are wondering what the hell kind of tea "Attack from Mars" is and why there's 8 billion of anything involved.
- My combined high scores on all 20 TPA tables add up to 31,542,970,730 points. Twilight Zone accounts for over 40% of the total; Theatre of Magic and Monster Bash combined are another 40%. If TPA were Pinball FX2, I'd have a Superscore of 31,542 points. My actual Superscore in FX2 is something like 80.
- Of the 20 TPA tables, I've played the corresponding physical version of 15 of them.
- Atlantis and Battle for the Kingdom are tied for most difficult wizard modes for me; I've achieved both of them only twice this year. Grand Finale was most frequently visited, having once occurred 3 times in one game. Unfortunately, I choked all 3 times during that game.
- The highest scoring single shot I've made this year is the shot to start Final Frontier in ST:TNG, for 1.5 billion (5 artifacts x 100M, plus 1B for a full set). This was done on the physical table.
- Longest combo this year is a 30-way combo made during Coffin Multiball on Scared Stiff, but this was technically a double 15-way combo since 2 balls were involved. Longest combo involving only 1 ball was a single 12-way combo made during Grand Finale on Theatre of Magic. This was also my highest-scoring combo, worth 1.1 billion and change.
- Wizard modes achieved for the first time this year: Atlantis (RBION), Monsters of Rock (Monster Bash), Spider Mania (Scared Stiff), Final Frontier (ST:TNG), Jericho and Do or Die (physical Iron Man), Redline Mania (physical High Speed II), Meet Your Maker (physical No Fear).
- Largest jackpot earned this year was an ~800M Annihilation Jackpot on a physical AFM.
- I'm ranked 3480th in the IFPA standings (1408th in the US). I think Roy Wils and company will be safe for a while.
