Just Announced - Next Two Tables

I've never really put much time into these tables. Honestly I'm not initially excited about this package but I will still buy them. Hearing how great they are, I'm sure they will grow on me.

I'm excited to see these come to TPA especially Circus Voltaire, I've played it with Visual Pinball and never really had a good computer to run it on so I'm sure it will run fine with the console versions.

I've never played Cirqus Voltaire, but so many people speak highly of the table that I can't wait to play it. And I can't wait to stick a shiny silver ball in Rudy's mouth to shut him up

It's already out on mobile devices, but it takes longer to get tables approved by Microsoft and Sony (plus with the initial releases being later on consoles, Farsight probably submitted the tables later as well), so we won't see Bride and Medieval Madness on Xbox and PS3 until probably early May......which means these two next two tables (CV and FH) probably won't come to consoles until early June (possibly late May), but mobile devices will get them in May.

For those who haven't played Cirqus Voltaire: Think of CV as combining elements of Theatre of Magic (9 marvels instead of 8 illusions), Attack from Mars/Medieval Madness (Ringmasters instead of saucers/castles), and Scared Stiff (wizard modes with alternating shots and a final OMG-this-scoring-is-insane multiball). Then add boatloads of other multiballs - CV has 8 separate multiball modes! - and challenging yet not cruel gameplay. Top with some of the best lighting work of any table and some unique toys (a captive racquetball, an interactive backglass cannon, and a disappearing bumper) and enjoy!

Also, the DMD for Cirqus is in the back of the playfield (behind protective plexiglass), not in the backglass. It'll be interesting to see how FarSight handles that, along with the neon rail. The neon is beautiful, but I imagine it's quite a challenge to render realistically - especially since in Neon Multiball, it's the only thing illuminated on the entire table, so if it's not right, it'll be obvious.

Can't wait to see some gameplay videos.

Awesome! Another solid pairing, and thematically linked, no less! I just wish Microsoft and Sony would speed up their approval processes; I haven't even had my shot at Medieval and Machine yet!
This is a nice surprise, and, not that I'm complaining (I'd much rather have CV/FH), but what happened with the Harley / Taxi pairing that was supposed to be next?

Well, it was RUMORED to be next. I don't recall anyone from FarSight saying it was coming at all.

Yeah, just a rumor. I'm not sure where the rumor originated actually.

On FB I had asked (before I even joined here) if they would be making dynamic backboxes and they answered that they would be working on it for CV and would try and implement backglass dynamics into the existing tables.

Yessss Cool Cirqus Voltaire. I can't wait to play it. On witch platform wil this release be the first?
I have pinball on my IPAD 3 on my ps3, my psvita and my android phone so i wil buy this new release for al my devices.

I'm looking forward to CV for sure, but somewhat ambivalent about Funhouse. It was one of my least favourites in WPC so I don't think I'll buy. Depends on the price difference between the full pack and CV on it's own, and also on platform. It's hard to judge which one is the best to get it for when the feature set is so staggered and in their relevant infancy (lighting, online score system, table bugs).

To be honest, I'm probably more looking forward to the fixes for other tables and improvements than this pack

Never played CV in real life but it looks spectacular! Like Shaneus Funhouse wasn't one of my favourites in WPHOF but I'll buy it anyway.

I've never played CV so I looked it up on YouTube. Looks pretty great. The sad thing is I know the entire next year is going to be spent waiting for whatever tables are coming next. I probably check Farsight's fb page and this forum 3-4 times a day LOL. Don't know if I can keep up this level of excitement that long hahah. Not exactly looking forward to a whole year of reading angry impatient people demanding stuff on the fb page.

Mike, I hadn't played it either, and also went to YouTube to look it up. It looks amazing, but also looks like a table that could have a lot of bugs due to the complexity. This was a great video I found:

I checked this one and a chunk of one called " how to beat cirqus Voltaire" (something like that) looks like a great table. I also like funhouse and so far am way happy with FS's selection of tables. I can't wait until about a year down the road.

Bride and Medieval Madness on Xbox and PS3 in early May.......then CV and FH possibly late May, but might not be till early June, for those 2 tables.
