What is it supposed to mean when you try to add a user to your personalized leaderboard, and you get "Error: Ambiguous"?

Go to http://www.pinballarcade.com/ and login.
Go to Account Settings
In the Add User to Personalized Leaderboard section, type patricktamu, and click Add User
You will get the following: 'Error: Ambiguous'

It means there's more than one user in their database with the same name. This probably indicates that the unique key on user ids is something other than the username - probably the email address or some internal id.
