I was inspired to do this by the recent Gottlieb and Williams EM threads.

Chicago Coin the predecessor of Stern, made some EMs I like the looks of

The first Stern Stampede: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=5232&picno=25121

Big Hit: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=252&picno=62621
I cant think of a better looking sport theme pin

Sun Valley: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2417&picno=7536
An oldie but a goodie. Got to play this at an expo, surprisingly fun

Top Ten: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2591&picno=23484
Like the music theme and layout

Hollywood: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1214&picno=14690
The Flicker Bally pin in the other thread would make an amazing 3 pack with this and this:

Prospector by Sonic: http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?name=Prospector&mfgid=282&sortby=name&searchtype=advanced

Sonic made some other great pins like Mars Trek & Faces

Interflip made some great ones as well. Who doesnt want Dragon, Impacto, Or Full

Recel, hard to pick just a few Lady Luck,Top Speed, & Firey 30's stick out.

Atlantis by Nordamatic looks awesome too.

Any other good ones outside the big 3 manufacturers?

If I had to pick just 1 from these, I would go for Impacto/Impact by Interflip. Looks like a great playing game. The only one of these I have played is Sun Valley. What would your top choice be? Also, anyone played any of them?

I haven't played any of those. EMs are rare and when they are not from the big 3(or 4) they are absent.

I played Mars Trek on Visual Pinball and remember it which means that ist was fun.

Yeah that one and really all the Sonic EMs look awesome, maybe Magic Pixel can do them for us if Zaccaria is a big enough success. I doubt we will see any Chicago Coin in TPA, there are too many great Gottlieb and Bally EMs and hardly any in game as is.

How About Bally's Bigfoot? It's an EM prototype that happens to be in the same realm as Hercules. It's about the same size and also uses a cue ball. Joking a bit aside, I'd like to see Bally's Nip It as it seems neat.

Comparing Stampede w/ Spirit Of 76, SO76 looks alot better to me. I guess Stampede does have an appeal though, esp to people who grew up with it, like I did SO76. :)

Guys, I'm remembering a table that had a sorta train theme, with sliding doors that opened & closed during gameplay. This was around '75 or '76. Can you recall anything like that? Thanks.

Thanks Naildriver, but that's not it. I'm certain there was a table that had sliding doors, either in the backglass or in the playfield. Really puzzles me, wish I'd remembered the name of it. Was a passenger train theme, seems like. At one time I thought it was Old Chicago, but that's not it either.

Okay, did some digging on IPDB:

"Cross Town"

Pretty sure this was it. :) Had fun on it at the Frost Stop in New Orleans.

Would like to see Flicker, but licensing on an EM could prevent this from being made. Same goes for Capt Fantastic. Dealer's choice would be a fun unlicensed alternative.
