We have some exciting things to come with the forum, starting with a name change.

PinballArcadeFans.com will be changing to DigitalPinballFans.com in the near future. The old domain will redirect to the new one once everything is set up.

With the change will come some reorganization of the forum, merging some less-used areas, and expanding some other ones. The forum started as a way for fans of The Pinball Arcade to communicate with each other, but now it should be opened up to fans of other games (many of which are already here).

Hopefully it'll liven things up around here as well. Without news on a new table coming down the road, and no recent updates on the game, it's been a bit quiet.

You may not want to change it so fast. Farsight just announced a season 8 for TPA. And there is an update on the App Store that fixes ui menus etc.

Point is, there's a lot more digital pinball out there these days than when the site started.

And TPA will now be limping along without the WMS tables. This seems like a great time to change names, frankly.

As others have said, there are more digital pinball options now, so it doesn't seem wise to tie the forum to one single game, especially when the game is losing the ability to buy a ton of content. Of course TPA will still be discussed here, and we'll continue to support FarSight with whatever they release in the future.
