Yes. The original backglass ripped off the xenomorph from Alien. According to Pinside: “Bally was sued over the game's artwork resemblance to designs by H. R. Giger. In fact, they ended up stopping production of the game early due to pending lawsuits, although 11,400 machines were still produced. A settlement was reached with Fox studios where royalties were paid to the studio for each pinball machine sold and Fox was also given approximately 3 machines to use for the promotion of the sequel to Alien, named "Aliens".”

There was a table in a bar scene in Brooklyn Nine Nine tonight, but I could only see the side of the cabinet. Yellowish with green palm tree silhouettes.

"You've got an arm like a wet rag!" - The Dummy, Hurricane (Williams, 1991)
"Ace of Clubs?!" - Bride of Pin*Bot, Jack*Bot (Williams, 1995)
"You have been terminated. Have a nice day!" - Candy 2000, Safe Cracker (Williams, 1996)

Wizard Goals remaining: Safe Cracker 26 [Unique] Tokens (19/26 collected); F-14 250K Launch Bonus; Frankie 150M Creature Jackpot, Complete CREATURE

Movie was "White Lightning", an old Burt Reynolds flick. An old man was trying to play it. Ned Beatty told him "you gotta hit the flippers every once in while". Didn't see the name of the table, but the theme was billiards. Odd that it only had one score counter slot instead of 4.

Whole line of tables on "The Flash" tv show but too dark to see any titles.

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet: On Netflix, in the new series "Bonding", Episode 5 is partly playing in a pinball arcade. The actors are playing some games. One of the tables is Twilight Zone, I I recognized Fish Tales as well (actually I think there are two of them next to each other), Star Wars, I believe there is a Whoa Nellie and a Metallica as well. I couldn't identify more, as the focus was not on the tables.

It looks like the scenes were filmed at a real arcade, I have not found anything about the filming location yet. It looks a bit like a Barcade.

/edit: Probably not a Barcade, from the pictures I saw on Flickr for the different Barcades.

Not sure if this has been mentioned. Space Invaders and an unspecified game(?) in the pool hall scene.

There's an Attack From Mars in a shot in Ad Astra with Brad Pitt. In the background, kinda blurry, very brief, but there nonetheless.

There was a Space Station machine prominently featured on The Goldbergs 10/23/19. I had never heard of Space Station before so I thought it was Space Shuttle just made generic until I looked it up on IPDB. Of course, they used generic pinball sounds instead of audio from the machine itself.

Does anybody know if the really old machines shown in HBO's "The Plot Against America" were real? We're talking early 1940's.

I hadn't noticed until yesterday that Space Invaders the pinball table is in the movie Spaceballs, on the Winnebago. The same pinball table as in Captain Marvel, spaceship as well.

they had 3 or 4 pinball tables in the latest episode of "Agents of Shield" (timeline 1982) but I couldn't' quite make out the table names. Will have to rewatch that.

The Wizard of Oz machine was basically part of the plot this week on Ted Lasso!

Spotted Williams' "Cosmic Gunfight" in the first episode of "The One Game" a drama from 1988

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_One_Game

The player scores 2.100.000, the same amount he steals (£) at the beginning!

Latest episode of Billions (S6E5 Rock of Eye) has pinball analogies as part of the plot-line, and there is a Data East Back to the Future prominently in it (which I think has also been in the background in another recent episode).

Latest episode of Bel Air had gameplay from Black Knight: Swords of Rage, but the wide shot of the backbox did not look like that table. It looked like a generic table in the blink and you miss it shot.

And as is the case in many TV shows with pinball, they used old style bells and chimes for the audio instead of the real game audio. Because I guess audiences think that all pinball still sounds like that.

They use generic sounds so they don't get entangled in rights issues over the genuine game audio.

You're right. I forgot about that!

It's still weird to hear when you're so used to what it should sound like.
