Since the last thing we heard regarding the use of WMS tables in tournaments was that Farsight wouldnt be including them in any of their future hosted tournaments, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in holding tournaments within the forum community?
There are certain things that need to be addressed upfront, such as, not everyone has all of the WMS tables, but taking that into account, people who posted scores in previous tournaments didn't have all of them either.
In order for this to work we would need Farsight to include a time attack mode within TPA, preferably displaying the date/time after each attempt, and we would need people to monitor and update the leaderboard during and after each tournament.
The reason I mentioned displaying the date/time is that a screenshot could be taken and sent as proof to the organizer/s as proof of a persons score.
Obviously this is a long shot since we need to find enough people willing to participate, and having Farsight include a new mode may sounds easy on paper, but may prove harder in reality, but one can still hope.
