Today is the final day for our PBFX3 in-game tourney on RED & TED’S ROAD SHOW as well as the last chance to submit a score for our monthly score-chase on MUSTANG, SPACE SHUTTLE remake and THE CLASS OF 1812.

So get your scores in on all the above.

I failed to make any improvement on my pre-existing scores for CLASS OF 1812 and SPACE SHUTTLE remake. But here they are anyway:

And the best score I could achieve on MUSTANG in the past 30 days was:

And in 15th place... Alanar

There is still an annoying bug when viewing completed tournaments whereby the top or bottom score on any given screen view will disappear. Fortunately, I managed to take a snap of Alanar’s score a couple of hrs before the close of the tourney.

Anyways, huge thanks to everyone who has taken part in these regular PBFX3 tournaments. We now intend to have a summer break for a month or two, hopefully starting back up again once Zen release more tables based on their ‘real-life’ counterparts.

Cheers all

Aww. Seeing as how I haven't run a tourney in some time, I was hoping you were picking up the mantle and would do Zen originals next.

shutyertrap If there is enough interest to do that, then I’m happy to give it a go. Previous experiences had led me to believe most people were not all that jazzed about playing Zen original tables for tourneys - lack of realistic physics and tiresome power-ups extending score/play time.

July is out, busy with other things. However, in the meantime, in addition to here, I’ll put out some feelers on Adult Switch Gamers Discord and the official PBFX3 Discord as well as PinballInfo forum and gauge the likely numbers interested.

If there’s a positive response, can start them in August and even possibly lead-into the Switch STAR WARS PINBALL release as well.

We’ll see.

You can choose if power ups are enabled or not. Easiest way is under tournament type to pick ‘classic’ and that eliminates those completely. You can also choose to turn off extra balls. There are actually a ton of options that are fun to play around with that can decrease play time. Also any of the newer tables use physics that are on par with what the Williams are like when not in Classic Single Player.

since no one else seems to be making a tournament, I've just put one up - Portal 1 ball, wizard power disabled, other 2 are players choice, 5 attempts. Has a tendency to be long games on that table so 1 ball without being able to use rewind should help with that.

Just a heads up that many of the Stern tables are currently on sale on the Nintendo Switch eShop both for TPA and SPA. At least in Europe.

Belated results for June’s high-score competitions. Again, we’re taking a summer break from these non-PBFX3 challenges and due to the waning number of participants we may have to rethink whether we bring these back after the break or just stick to PBFX3 in-game tournaments.

Results of Portal 1 ball tournament. 16 players total, top 6 :
 1. 0100100 [$] 120.3M
 2. wilbers 48.2M
 3. blueman7 19.3M
 4. Doctorofskillz 16.4M
 5. Lucas2009313 15.1M
 6. shutyertrap 12.2M

Guess the Atlas/P'Body multiball is harder to start than I thought, only managed it on 1 out of my 5 attempts, and didn't do that well on it on that attempt either.

We’ve brought back the ‘Adult Switch Gamers Discord’ digital pinball competitions. New tourney is up for JUNKYARD. [EDIT: Password confirmed to be pikmin all small case]

Please note: If you win, you will need to select the next table and create the new tourney in-game. Please let me know the details if you aren’t able to post yourself in the relevant thread over on the Adult Switch Gamers Discord. Cheers.
