I'll be really interested to see the physics of the Mix Master, something that always seemed weird in TPA, same with other revolving toys (the Cup in Diner (though Creature has this even though I don't get to see it in operation a lot), roulette wheel in High Roller Casino, Taxi, etc.).

That's because it was mostly a railroaded set of moves, thus always having the exact same amount of spins. I've played the beta of Dr Dude, and the Mix Master behaves much different, feels like the ball is truly wild in there. Part of this is because Zen has true ball spin (FarSight only animated it) but also because they model surface friction. Dr Dude is just a whole different experience from what it was in TPA.

I’m so-so with this pack.

Funhouse is a um,fun table, So that’s a positive.
I’ve never been a big fan of Dr. Dude. Don’t see that changing,so that’s a negative.
Space Station? Something new? Never a bad thing.

So kinda meh overall for me,but I’ll have it day one on the Xbox

What I'm looking forward to is FunHouse with Zen physics. Also a table that needed a fresh coat of paint being one of the earliest TPA releases.
Dr. Dude-a complete love/hate table.
Space Station was one of my top most wanted un-released tables in TPA. For some odd reason I love the music on it.

Hopefully they'll eventually re-do Banzai Run. Zen does have plenty of practice doing vertical table physics. Many of their original tables have them.
Looking back, the TPA version felt rushed IMO.

It is great that we're starting to get previously unreleased tables. I do remember a lot of people on the boards wanted Fire!. Seems to me the chance is there.
We'll see....

I'm cool with all 3 tables myself, but really looking forward to Space Station since it's actually something not already in TPA.

Now I just need to know when it releases for PS4.

when does this drop? ive racked up 600 coins and 25k tickets. kind of want to spend some coins 4 staring older tables but ive already got all my favorites now and might want to just hang on to them for future packs since ive become very bored of the grind. cant wait to see what future packs are in store for us.

seriously still no release?! just what in the heck is going on over at zen???
Covid19 is to blame for the most part. All Zen employees are working from home with limited communication with the other team members. This is also the case with the console companies. Trying to get a date that all platforms can agree with is like a living hell right now.

They have been able to be back in the office since June 3rd. Almost all restrictions have been lifted (still need face masks to go into shops) since late May, and even most EU travel is back to being almost normal. Zen just released Castlestorm II on July 31st and many within that team have migrated over to Pinball during this year. The delays for Vol 6 may be more related to Arcade1Up (and other partner delays), since Vol 6 has been ready to release since late March.

It hasn't been ready since then. The score display was an issue in that wouldn't display properly in the DMD area. We never got a new beta build apart from that first one, so it's hard to say when that issue was solved, but I know it wasn't until sometime in May a the eariliest. We were told emulation difficulty and score display were the primary reasons for delay. Gotta figure they want to work out all the kinks with this so that future alpha numeric releases benefit from worskshopping these.

Castlestorm II has been delayed to Fall 2020.

Fixes may be in place even before you guys get your preview access, and I'm not completely sure these should be referred to as "beta builds." But it does look like creating a link from Alpha-Numeric ROM output to their DMD style display was more of an issue than they anticipated.

They are working on other things (beyond Vol 6 content) with the program, and I guess they are going to push these (console) updates out with Vol 6 which explains some of the delay. Maybe this will be the only pinball release from them this year?

I'm also beginning to question whether or not the new Xbox and PS5 get released in November as planned...

Considering the situation, I am patient. And that’s saying a lot because I am usually the one complaining about no info from them...lol. But in the year where even birthdays and holidays suck and are basically cancelled, I am willing to wait and cut them a break. I will say I am looking forward to this pack and whatever else they have cooking up in the future. Can’t wait. But I will. As long as needed. These are strange times.

It was a beta build back in March, though given the display problems I really think it should be appropriate to call that the alpha build, and beta would have been the one in May(+) with the ALPHAnumeric display working, but seems that wasn't released to be tested.
