Dallas/Fort Worth Pinball Auction results last Saturday

This is the results of the pinball auction held in Mesquite, TX on December 8th. I copied my friend's completed list and pasted below. Some machines that are listed twice means there were duplicate machines auctioned at different times. The first price listed under the name of the pinball machine is the "Hammer Price" or winning bid from the auctioneer. The second price is the 13.9% buyers premium from the winning bid (hammer price). The next number is your 8.25% sales tax, which you take the sum of the winning bid and buyers premium and add the 8.25%. The last number is the final take home from the auction price. I know it is kinda confusing, but you get the idea. The hobby of pinball is growing every month, and at the auction a record number of people were there to jump on the pinball action. Some might of paid too high looking at todays national collector pinball prices, but machines in good condition go for a premium down here, plus take in the Holiday Season consideration, and people who want a machine do get into a bidding war, which there were plenty! This was definitely a sellers market that day. On a side note, there were 500+ machines at the auction consisting of arcade machines, redemption machines, pool tables, gameroom equipment, etc...... Hope this is interesting to some of ya'll!

Low price on Xenon. Was it beat up?

It wasn't too bad.....just needed a cleaning.....although I didn't play it. The playfield wasn't worn, I would give it a 7.5.

Did you take anything home?

Nope.....just soaked in the festivities and played a little. Everyone was swarming the pinball machines though.

Blimey Lethal Weapon 3 went cheap.
