OS Version: Windows 7
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon 7970
Ram: 24GB
Version #(Bottom right of game screen): 0.009
Display Mode: n/a
Display Resolution: n/a

Frequency of Occurrence: 100%

Expected Result: Running PinballArcade.exe without an internet connection (or without the application explicitly allowed access in Windows firewall) either displays an error message explaining that an internet connection is required, or continues without online functionality.
Actual Result: It appears as if the executable was not run. The game does not create a display window, display an assert dialog box, or crash.

Comment: For security reasons, some users may need to set up explicit firewall rules for each program that needs access to the internet. Exiting with no message instead of presenting a dialog box with an error message is not a good user experience. Requiring an internet connection in the first place is not a good user experience either; the game will not work in Steam's Offline mode.

Possibly it's just like that for the beta so that people can't keep free access to all tables after the beta is done? It would be good if Farsight responded to confirm, though.

This doesn't seem necessary since the console and mobile versions don't require an Internet connection. Is this something that's going to be fixed?
