I wouldn't count on seeing the Capcoms (BBB, PM, Breakshot) anytime soon. Al's Garage Band is also highly unlikely due to being an Alvin G. game.

The interesting thing is, there aren't that many modern era (DMD games) left on this list if you *don't* count these games. Aside from those (and the Spanish rarity Jolly Park), the unlicensed DMD top 100 pins I see left are: Safe Cracker, Jackbot, Road Show, and Party Zone. (And Revenge From Mars, which probably isn't listed because it's a Pinball2K machine).

A lot of System 11 machines on that list, though, and some older early 1980s / late 1970s stuff as well... would suit me personally, but I know there's a bit of a bias among some for the DMD stuff... *shrug*

I know there was some speculation that BBB was the motivator for the "pinball after dark" thing, so you never know...

If you check out the top 300 list at ipdb you will see all tables between 33 and 278 score between 7.00 and 7.99, so I guess there will be plenty of funny tables out there for fs to release at TPA. :)

The #1 machine I've been hoping for is High Speed 2. I've been a bit worried about the ZZ Top song, but like superballs, I figured they'd be reasonable to work with. I was playing a Whodunnit machine the other day and realized it included the "Peter Gunn Theme". While I don't know for sure if that song is making it into the Whodunnit release for season 3, it stands to reason that the Peter Gunn Theme would probably be harder to secure than La Grange. This gives me hope that the only hurdles for the Getaway to clear are interest and a long enough timeline for the Pinball Arcade.

Wonder how many unlicensed DMD pins are left? Maybe I'll count and list them later if I can climb out of this lazy funk hovering over me.

Rumored? It's all but confirmed. If it's not Jack*Bot next, I'll eat my hat.

Here's a list of production machines. Made with IPDB.org help. Using a strict version of "unlicensed" so no RS or HS2 or R911 etc.

Williams:
Hurricane
Jack*Bot

Bally:
Safe Cracker
Revenge from Mars
The Pinball Circus (not production but particularly notable)

Data East:
Checkpoint

Sega:
(none)

Stern:
Striker Xtreme

Gottlieb/Premier:
Gladiators
Wipe Out
World Challenge Soccer

Capcom (all):
Pinball Magic
Airborne
Breakshot
Big Bang Bar (not production but particularly notable)
Flipper Football
Kingpin (not production but particularly notable?)

Alvin G. (all):
Al's Garage Band Goes on a World Tour
Mystery Castle
Pistol Poker

new machines (are these production yet?):
America's Most Haunted

Non-US machines not attempted, but I suppose Jolly Park is particularly notable.

Corrections?

Wow, the Williams and Bally DMDs are dwindling rapidly. They used to be the bread and butter of the game. The makeup of Season Five is going to be very different to what has gone before...

They're going to need to work hard to get at some of those low-hanging fruit licenses. Whatever the low-hanging fruit are, because what we might consider such may not be.

Judge Dredd? It's a comic book license, no actors or fragmented rights holders to chase. Plus it's a really impressive looking widebody. Could be the highlight of the season.

I'd be happy with that. I don't recall ever playing it IRL but really I've heard 2000AD has been having to re-invent itself of late, so maybe they'll welcome the cash injection. Good thing it wasn't based on the Sly movie, really.

But... Season 4 has had zero unlicensed Williams/Bally DMD tables so far. So Season 5 may be very different, but it won't be because of this type of table. :)

Ah, fair point. I'm a PS3 player. I'm still waiting for Season 4 to start!

I liked JD lots back in the 1990s. It's got a great playfield with some shots that are a little bit oddball, outstanding dots and sound, and is very funny to certain tastes -- "10 Years for Littering". I don't think it's any larger than other widebodies but I remember that it seemed really big. I don't remember the rules much but I think they had several nooks and crannies. There are several licensed WMS tables I'd love to see and this is one. If they made it, I hope they would put in a way to play the Supergame.

Tell me this gorgeous playfield doesn't excite you:
