Too fast?

I've played this game quite a bit in real life, and I've never played one this fast. The flipper rubber on the ones in real life usually deadens the ball quite a bit...on TPA, the ball can fly all the way up the playfield off a dead flipper bounce. I just don't think they captured the physics or the "feel" of this game. Good work on everything else, though.

I haven't yet played (other than in demo) the table in TPA, but I have played an immaculate version of High Speed in real life. It is crazy fast when everything is in tip top shape.

It's mostly this speed, but you're right on the flippers with too much bounce. I suspect it's because there's no give in the flippers when a ball hits them, so no force is taken out of the ball. Mind you, my own HS does play damn fast (I'd say almost exactly the same speed as the TPA version), but none of that speed is from bouncing/coming off the flippers.

But the speed from everything else on the table (targets, slings etc.) is practically identical.
