Hi :)

After dozen of games, one thing is certain..that damn double score is impossible, at least for me. I can shoot left ramp anytime, but during this one important moment i always screw up :D

Must be you screwing up; I can loop the ramp just fine. But when it comes to Millions/Doubling Score...

Yeah, the tolerance on that shot is very tiny, and depends on how fast the ball is travelling.

ALso, you do NOT have time to nudge trap the ball and still make the shot if you are going for the double score. This is true to real life. the timer on it is MUCH shorter then the one on the millions.

Well, it's a wizard goal. and so is five millions in a row. and so is the totally unfair get build 5x jackpot. that just requires way too much luck, and the game software often forgets it's way out of jackpot build mode when you hit the ramp or the trapdoor or lock a ball.

It totally gets in my head. I've shot 7 straight Phantom shots before (TPA and IRL) and blew the million shot oodles of times. Then there's the Double score.... NO PRESSURE. Of course I double my score when it's only 2 million, but I couldn't get it the 2 times on TPA when I got to 13.... Figures.

You are over thinking it. I have hit it a bunch of times, once in the first few games even before I knew it was the big deal. And I am a beginner playing on the smaller Kindle Screen without nudge.

Speaking of which, for those of use without easy access to a nudge button that center gap is murder. (On kindle I havent found a good position to hold my hands so nudge is weird and it is impossible to hit in time)

If it helps, I find making combos has a lot to do with finding the best camera angle. If you are not hitting them, try changing the camera angle for a few games.

I don' think i will EVER get that 5x build jackpot.

Even when i do get it high up, it forgets it's way out of build jackpot every time i hit the catwalk, the open organ to lock the last ball on the field, or the trap door. Unless it magically decides to stay in the bumper lanes for ages.

I've doubled my score many times. Just close your eyes and use the force, Luke.

I've got to 4 2/3 jackpot build multiplier, and the ball power drained from the bumpers.

likewise...at that time, I mess up. I most of the time hit it in the middle to get in the ramp. :(

I played around some more today and as a word of warning about the doubler. If the shot that would double the score would also start the ramp millions it seems the ramp millions override everything and you lose the score doubling and the doubler "mode". Making sure you're not on the letter O (and probably M as well to be safe) when going into ball 3 is crucial. You might be able to use the hole phantom ramp award to reset the letters before going for the doubler, but without testing I can't say if that would also nuke the doubler mode or not.

yeah. i warned about this. and yes the phantom lit award from the trapdoor should fix it. I can confirm that scoring M on ball three aborts the double score if it's the first shot. and you apparently have confirmed the second.

I've got that double score wizard goal, but that's more due to luck than anything else. I find the ramp shot to be terribly elusive and almost as unattainable as the right orbit on "High Roller Casino". No matter what I try and do, I just can't find the right angle. So my impression is that the ball only goes up there when the right stars align. And that I can basically forget about the 5 million (or whatever it was) wizard goal.

And nope, not much of a fan of this table either. There's very little to it apart from the awesome artwork.

For the HRC, you can backhand the right orbit. It's a bit difficult, but might be slightly easier if you're not getting it on the forehand. Probably a safer return too if you don't get it.
