The Pinball Arcade table ratings

Give me a 9 for World Champion Soccer. Goes to 10 once they fix the physics.

I like these ratings in general, I was just playing Bone Busters the other day and it is truly right down there with Goin' Nutz.

Hopefully Black Knight post-revamp will rise over time, it definitely doesn't belong at the #82 spot anymore.

Can I ask a random question about Black Knight?

So far, I've only played Black Knight on the Kindle version, where it's very glitchy and the ball CONSTANTLY locks up. Is this true for other versions of Black Knight, and that may account for so many low scores for the table? Cause personally I like the table, I just don't like the glitches.

Did you play it within the last 2 months? It was fixed very recently and plays great.

Yeah. If there was a patch for it, I haven't gotten it yet, and this is the Pinball Arcade Underground version by the way.

re: new Black Knight - I wouldn't expect scores to go UP with this version, but probably DOWN, at least that has been my experience - the upper area is not as exploitable to get repeated 3-ball multiballs as it used to be. It plays a lot more like real life, that is to say brutal and terrifying- when you are in the lower playfield you are always one flip and bounce away from draining.

Umm, it finally actually works? All of the sounds are in, not just a small subset? The lights all work properly? The upper playfield locks work correctly?

I've actually found my score have gone up with the new version, probably because the scoring has been fixed as well.

New Emulated Black Knight is far, far, better than Old Scripted Black Knight.

You could say it's Knight and Day....

Having read back, I think it was supposed to mean that in-game scores were likely to go down. Not the table ratings. The table ratings should definitely get a bump.

Yes, that's what I meant - I find the retuned version to be less exploitable and more realistic, and therefore more challenging, which is a good thing.

Left my rating.. Only gave monster bash a 10..only handed out a few 9's..like mm, Rbion,TZ, ngg,... I just can't get into the old old tables, big shot probaly my favorite out of all Of them I can think of now... Sttng I gave a 9 or 8,i stink at it,I keep those outlanes full haha.. But I can see it's a good game with rules I'd like.....
I hate the music in funhouse.. Its just Constant, I don't mind Rudy though.. Afm is 2 easy and idk the colours could have been better.. Mb is easy too but the art & music make up for it, easy doesnt mean it's no good..

That list is kind of all over the place - I am actually interested in how you define your tastes. Some of your top rated are pretty similar to bottom rated.

I am with you on Central Park, though, that table is a ton of fun but doesn't get a lot of respect here.

1 zillion times: stranger than strange in some ways. el dorado and central park on top, twilight zone and mb on bottom, that's a headstand.
But well, that's your choice. Better than a community with similar tastes.

I think everyone has an outlier or two. I love TX-Sector and hate STTNG. But Schmoe, you do buck the standard opinion on a great many pins. That's why it is so important to have a varied selection. It's all good.
