How collectable is Monster Bash?

They're worth a lot more than they used to be, but £8500 seems high. A Monster Bash in perfect condition should fetch US$7000-8000, unless something has happened in the market recently that I'm not aware of.

Just having a browse on eBay and noticed one for £8500! Are they really worth that much?!
Is that the actual bid price, or the asking price? At least 95% of the time, the asking price is far higher than the actual value. Right now, Pinside pegs it at $5460-$6340. They arrive at that by averaging all the actual selling prices of all the auctions of that machine on Ebay.

You can't go by the high-end restoration prices. They also apparently want $10K for a FunHouse, which is clearly not normal.

hahaa, well I don't have even a quarter of that to spend on a machine, but I figured that if you wanted a machine that was as perfect as it was when it came out the factory, even had that new car smell, that would be the table to get...

I managed to spend £12,000 just window shopping on eBay today.

Now where's my lottery ticket.
