Professional restaurated pinball machines - what would be your first - if you could afford it?

even harely davidson is cheapest at 2.950€... and the best version? 7.950€ ... dude, i don't know who buys that, but guys who own this 'shop' are not serious :D

Where they even improve MB a little so that Drac won't do any harm to the play field anymore (except for draining your ball obviously ;-))

Just missed out on Terminator 2 on eBay, looked in good condition actually 8/10. It went for £1,140 odd in the end not a bad price for such a well know table!

Liberty games in the UK have some good pins at not stupid money.

Better still, these guys are GOOD.

PS. I'm not employed by them, or anything like that. Just happened to be on my list of companies to visit for work, and was taken round. Nice people

Not so sure about the prices!!!.......£2800 for tables like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, get real!

EDIT: and £3000 for Space Jam!! hahah has to be one of the worst tables ever. Its sites like these that are rampping up the prices of one off sellers

If we have any uk based carpenters on hand hows about a barebones diy flatpack cabinet(just the casing) for say sub 500 quid....add a modest computer and tpa pc....presto

i was watching that same one. fish tales just sold an hour ago for £750 in Dunfries!
if only I wasn`t so scared of what the wife would do to me when she found out!
if it had been a Black Knight, I may have been tempted to risk her wrath!

Im actually consider selling my Virtual cab Thunderball, but with the PC version of TPA now announced im not sure......

Well first off, it's BBB! Only 2 or 300 built, right?

I don't know what prices are like in Europe, but most of those prices for tables seemed to be pretty good (if they are indeed shopped) compared to what is normal in the US. Every time I see a Whirlwind for sale, it seems to be going for $3500-5000. Here they're asking what, $2000? Still too damn much money for me, but seems to be a bargain in comparison.

yeah, there is always this 'just-so-rare' stuff on this planet (should i say in human society), that consequently people seem to think its actually worth the asking price... you know, like truffles for example... but my view of worth/value doesn't really matter in the end ;)

so the cheapest and the shoddiest (as in: not really restored, but working for now) version of whirlwind is 1.350€ -> 1.772$, and the most expensive (restored one) at 4.850€ -> 6.366$

and dont get me started on cirqus voltaire... the cheapest/crappiest is 5.850€ and the priciest is 14.450€?... sheesh...

I think the only thing I look for is whether the playfield is badly worn or not. If that's not too bad then (almost) everything else is fixable or replaceable. :)

I'm still amazed by those prices. Folks charge an absolute fortune for workshopping these games. My attitude is that pinballs by definition get dirty as you play them - therefore you will need to learn how to clean them up someday. If you can buy a working but not restored game then that's the best way. There's something supremely satisfying about improving the game by yourself and also adding value should you come to sell it on someday.
