Just got this huge new iMac 27 -- and looks like no support for X-Arcade joystick to play Pinball Arcade?

Anybody have any luck?

Last time I used one, you could program them to use a custom keymap... can't you still do that?

I've only used my X-arcade with a PC, but I know that they do advertise that it's supposed to work with Mac out of the box. Have you tried mapping the buttons in TPA control options?

I've looked all over TPA for that control option and can't find it --
Here's a question: I'm on TPA through Steam but I also see it for 9.99 through the App Store.
Is there a difference?

Not sure, but maybe the Mac version doesn't allow you to remap controls? If so, that's a real bummer.

If it does, they've got it well hidden.
Yeah, that does suck, playing with arrow keys when you've got a X-Arcade with flipper buttons on the side....

just keep in mind that you can remap any button.

it takes 2 seconds to configure a button to act as a left/right arrow

There are some software tools that may help. Joystick Mapper is in the AppStore for about $5. There might be some free options. One is called Enjoy2 but might be outdated.
