Hello i just have a quick question and couldn't find a thread for it. I got the mod to work took me, awhile but i got it. My problem is on totan when i get the floating dmd box the dmd is half cut out, and im seeing the back glass of the pinball machine. how can i move the actual dmd inside the floating on to center it. im using top down view, with some camera files noex gave in a another thread. if that matters.

If I understand your question correctly, this is covered in Noex's mod guide. If you haven't committed it to memory, do so it will save you numerous times over...

In short, go right click crazy in the general area of the DMD. This opens options for always on top, etc.

no i got those options the first right click. the problem is my floating dmd only shows, a quarter of the dmd that's on the play field. so basically my floating dmd needs zoomed in and more focus on the real dmd. my floating dmd is showing back glass not dmd.

Is there a way to specify the position and size of the backglass image, like you can with the DMD? My setup for my mini-cab has the backglass/DMD monitor in portrait mode, and the bottom half of the monitor is not visible. I'd like to set the backglass image to (0,0) on the backglass monitor, and sized to fit the width. As it is now, the backglass image is on the bottom half of the monitor, and I can only see a little bit of the top of it, and I haven't been able to find a way to move or resize it permanently.

I also have the same problem as shadowjuggalo, at least for ST:TNG. The DMD is mostly backglass image, with only a small sliver of the DMD.

Has anymore work been done on the fan made VR oculus rift program?

Also has there been FreeCameraMod settings for LAH and TX sector, the packeges that were being made seemed to have stopped a few tables back

Unsure if this is the place. But i recently got a steam controller. When in use the frees mod overlay controls gets confusing. Some times i have to use the mouse, sometimes the controller. Sometimes the mouse moves the cursor but the controller is the'click'. So to use the mood to fix 16x10 resolutions. I have to awkwardly use mouse and controller to click around. Is this because the steam controller had mouse like features? Also how do i hid the overlay once i get views i like. Even at 1% opacity it is annoying

***EDIT ***
ok so i found a camera pack, and its way better than the defaults...and fixed the overlay issue and the controller/mouse problems- by reading more of course! :)

NOW. i am hoping this resolved the cut off flippers for the 16x10 resolutions. but the only camera pack i could find on here, actually makes the cameras worse. am I missing something here? if someone makes cameras setup for a 16x9 res. does that mean my 16x10 is going to be wonky anyways, and the camera packs are just a place to start? and i'll need to edit further?

So that is actually a Camera Pack that I put out there a while back. It should be a good start. It should get the camera view for you in a condition where you should not have to edit too much. Your going to need to play around with the camera mod interface a bit. Once you get the hang of editing, its a breeze. I suggest setting the slider sensitivity very low and then mapping your keyboard in the settings.ini to your liking for the camera edit keys. I never use a mouse to slide the sliders ... use keyboard only with sensitivity set low. I always set my FOV to 1.54. That seems to get the best view for my preferences. Learn what all the sliders do and how they change your camera view. Don't worry ... you'll get the hang of it. Takes me a whole 2 minutes now to setup the newest tables that are added.

There is no "default" cam view. You'll have to create it for each new table that comes out. Back a year ago when the NoEx mod came out, it took me about 8 hours to get all the tables caught up to date at that time. I own all tables and buy in to the season pack (will save you $2.00 per table in the end) and just have to update the newest tables as they come out.

Best thing you can do is go to work on creating your own views. That's what NoEx camera Mod is all about. Be patient and play around with it.

Does anyone have a media pack (backglass, table vids and pics) and also a camera setup for the newer tables?

Is there a plan to make a mod for SPA? Including table launch?
The game UI is even more crap than TPA and it runs pretty bad. So this would at least give a glimpse of hope for me actually buying a table or two...

I'm quite certain Stern would fight multi-pin cabinet development-their main purpose for SPA seems to be to get users interested in buying their actual tables.

Funny thing is when it launched, no tables were available for purchase. So if you wanted to play these tables, you actually had to buy the machine.

Maybe that's the point.......

Like oops, we are sorry the 9$ digital version is crap, just buy this 9000$ real version instead. Oh you have no room for a pinball machine? If you want to play please just buy this house for 9000000$.
