I love the tables as well. No one loves playing TPA more than me in the world or so I imagine. But I can't play it because it's fu***d on PS4.
So I need my money back or preferably, they fix it. As it stands no one from Far Sight has even acknowledged that there is a problem!

I'm looking into it. I haven't been able to reproduce it, and as you can see, not everyone is having the problem you are having. Something like this reeks of a bad internet connection.

Go here http://www.speedtest.net/ and tell me your Mbps (mega bits per second). When you're on this site are you on a wired connection or WIFI? Is your PS4 on WIFI or wired? Does logging out or forcing your console to be offline fix the problem? Also, this is a stupid question, but you're on the most current patch?

It is not my internet connection. Every other game works perfectly, including Stern Pinball Arcade. Yes i have the latest version.
There are loads of other oeople complaing about this, I didn't start the thread.Basically it takes several minutes to get to the menu page and when you do all you can do is play 1 game a time in isolation without any connection to the leaderboards and if you want to play another table you have to wait another 5 minutes to do so. That is not what I nor anyone else paid all this money for, and this is why I ask you to fix it or give me my money back. I didn't pay £400+ just to rent the game.

I'm looking into it. I haven't been able to reproduce it, and as you can see, not everyone is having the problem you are having.

I'm running into the same problem.

I just didn't bother reporting it, since I don't give a crap about the leaderboards.

I have perfect connection with PSN (just downloaded a 50GB game), but your leaderboards have been down for a few days now.

Just tested on both wired and wireless connections and The Pinball Arcade fails to sign in but Stern Pinball Arcade signs in with no issues.

Hit circle whenever you get stuck on a black screen. It sometimes requires you to do it more than once.
It won't help with the leaderboard/login issue but you won't have to wait a minute (BS on the 5)

What happened to Pinball Arcade. Does it now require a lice internet connection to operate?

Mine takes about 3 minutes to get a menu, and about 50% of my tables have disappeared. When I try to get them back it says To use this feature you must be logged into the "PSN" and have the latest version of Pinball Arcade installed"
But I am logged into PSN, and my internet connection is fine. And everything was working so much better up until now

I'm running into the same problem.

It was Wednesday (afair) when it went wrong. It was ok at 5:30PM(CEST) and it was bad at 8:30PM(CEST)
Something must have happened/changed at Farsight on Wednesday morning.

Now I am having the same problems with TPA. Blackscreen and after a Long time trying something like connecting to the leaderboards, the message appears, that I got to be logged into PSN, though I am already connected with playstation network. The latest update is already installed too Please fix this as soon as possible.

Strange: SPA works fine.
To Tom: Sorry, but this got nothing to do with the quality of the internet connection. I bet, this is a server sided issue.

When TPA starts and you get the first black screen.. wait about 5 seconds and hit circle and you'll get to the 2nd black screen.. hit x once and then circle and it'll load but leaderboards still don't work but you'll be able play in less than a minute after starting TPA.

It seems that the TPA leaderboards went down when the SPA patch launched.

To everyone that is having this problem, do you have both The Pinball Arcade and Stern Pinball Arcade install on your system?

Edit: That would be a yup for me.

What exactly was changed with this update?

When I start the game it plays the PA music but with a black screen. When it does come up, I've lost all of the content which Farsight support had unlocked for me way back on 6/21/16. I also lost the eyeball ball and other extras which I had won during TPA contests many years ago.
Everything, including has been wiped.

I tried restoring licenses, and even starting from scratch with a clean install, but all that did was waste 8 hours.
I also lost all of my local high scores from the last 4 years. I'm really saddened by this.

Thanks to everyone coming in here and telling me it's not working. Shows that it wasn't what I was initially thinking. Same with telling me SPA worked. Last week I submitted SPA to prevent any of this as I had updated a file that would prevent any of this from happening again even if we switch servers.

It looks like the patch I submitted last month for TPA was made so long ago that while I thought it must've had the file to prevent any server madness, it didn't because it was made so long ago. I will try to get the patch out today to fix this.

Thanks Tom.. will this patch include any other fixes? Like the 2 Sorcerer Wizard Goals that don't register?

Also.. I'm starting to get use to playing with the Glo-Balls but there is no way to use them when doing Challenges.. any chance that this can be added at some point?

I will post a changelist of everything I've had a hand in. But those Sorcerer wizard goals should be fixed.

@Sorcerer people. Special goals appear to be fixed. I just got the outlane one.
