UPDATE FarSight announced that the PC version of The Pinball Arcade is finally ready! They would like to partner with the Steam online gaming platform to distribute the PC version, but need everyone's help to do so. Steam uses a greenlight process to decide which games they distribute based on the number of votes a game receives. Please take a minute to cast a vote for The Pinball Arcade HERE.

Also, DLC Tables Pack #6 will feature Bally's Elvira and the Party Monsters and Williams' No Good Gofers!

I tried to cast my vote but a window message pops up saying My account doesn t have sufficient privileges to perform this action. . . . and other stuff about buying the game.

Same boat as me captain (d'ya geddit?) . Guessing you've never bought on steam before.
Seems you can't vote unless you have - I certainly can't anyway!

To those who doesn't own a game on Steam, there are plenty of great titles on the store; take a look around and see what you like. THEN you can vote :)

How can dlc pack 5 for PS3 be released at the end of Sept. when the 4th is Sept. 25? That is the end of the month!

PiN WiZ updates with the information that is released making the first page of this thread a one stop shop for TPA information. However, he can't manufacture information so if the last release information that Farsight published was "end of September" then that's what is on the thread. By the way it is possible that both are correct. They have released two packs on the same day before. Maybe they will both be released on the 25th!

The vague "end of month" release dates are mere speculation based on when the game is estimated to have gone through its approval and placed online. They must be taken with a grain of salt, as they can, and frequently do, change. Hard dates are official announcements from FS, and rarely, if ever, change.

Not sure if they've stated this publicly before, but ST: TNG is targeted for January release!

Excerpt from the ST:TNG Kickstarter notice I just received:

"We will soon begin the process of disassembling and digitizing the Star Trek: The Next Genration table. We'll post some updates along the way to keep you apprised of our progress. As the launch date for the table approaches (hopefully January) we will contact you with details about getting your Rewards out to you. Thanks again for your support! We are very excited start development on this great table."

On which platform?

At this point we are only on table pack 4 on the PS3 and it needs major bug fixes.
I honestly don't expect to play The Twilight Zone table until mid 2013 and ST TNG until 2013 4th qtr.

Couldn't tell you. Probably the same order they usually drop them, which seems yo be iOS (and android? haven't followed mobile releases too closely) first, then consoles.

Here's the full email:

Project Update #4: Star Trek: The Next Generation is funded!
Posted by FarSight Studios Like

Thanks to the incredible dedication of our backers, the Star Trek: The Next Generation pinball project has been successfully funded! We continue to be amazed and humbled by the tremendous outpouring of support the project received from all of you. On behalf of the entire team here at FarSight Studios, thank you for backing the Star Trek: The Next Generation!

We've received messages from some of our backers saying there were problems when Amazon tried to apply their pledge payment. Kickstarter should contact you if this is the case but you can also check to make sure it worked correctly by logging into Kickstarter. You have only 7 days to correct a payment problem so please check if you suspect there was one- after that grace period your pledge and reward are cancelled (and nobody wants that to happen!)

We will soon begin the process of disassembling and digitizing the Star Trek: The Next Genration table. We'll post some updates along the way to keep you apprised of our progress. As the launch date for the table approaches (hopefully January) we will contact you with details about getting your Rewards out to you. Thanks again for your support! We are very excited start development on this great table.

Android usually comes first, and IOS follows it by anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Kindle Fire gets it at the same time as IOS, and barring submission problems, console releases are generally 6-8 weeks after Android (30 days to approve it, and 2-4 weeks to find a spot in the lineup). PS3 EU - let's just say it takes the longest.

PS3 whoops 360 again. I miss the good old days, when people accused MS of causing delays on other platforms. Now we (unfortunately) have evidence that isn't true. I guess MS just likes to lose. At least we don't have to wait that much longer.

DLC #1 was listed in yesterday's PS3 EU store update. I didn't have time to check whether it's really available in the store though..
