Crazily enough, I'm not expecting TFTC for October - Victory is currently the only verified Gottlieb Collection that hasn't been put into TPA yet, so maybe they could pair it with HSII... Take note that this is only a rumor.

Last year had Elvira tables in Sept and Oct. It's not unreasonable to think we'll be getting a table like TFTC, Class of 1812 or Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Of Tales From The Crypt, Class of 1812, and Bram Stoker's Dracula, it seems that the easiest to license would be Class of 1812. Even though I think we've had enough horror tables for a while, FarSight does seem to have this fetish with them. And as it's approaching Halloween, having Haunted House one month and another horror theme the next month (as with the two Elvira tables) certainly isn't without precedent.

With all that, my head says Victory (the last announced table on the list), and Class of 1812 (the easiest license among the likeliest horror tables).

Of course, my heart wants High Speed along with any of: High Speed II: The Getaway, Black Knight 2000, F-14 Tomcat, Red & Ted's Roadshow, Earthshaker, or Eight Ball Deluxe.

What license do they need for Class of 1812?
AFAIK The 1812 Overture is public domain, which is why it was used as the music on the game. TPA already has a Licensing agreement with Gottlieb.

I never get bored with Horror or scary themed tables. It's the card games and pool table based machines that I think that get boring really fast. Not so much for pool, but there were far too many card game themed tables put out in the day. I am glad we are not getting overdosed on them in TPA.

Absolutely right. TPA could make 1812 in a heartbeat with their current licencing. I hope they make it. That table must come to TPA.

Exactly. There should be no licensing hiccups at all with that one. The other two still have potential lingering licenses to deal with, so if we're to see one of those three, then Class Of 1812 seems the easiest choice.

I don't know. I actually kind of liked all of the card and pool based games. Then again, most of those were back in the EM and very early SS era. Those were simpler tables with simpler rule sets, and card and pool themes just flowed naturally with them. With the deeper rule sets of the later games, I agree it makes less sense. But out of nostalgia (and nostalgia is one of my primary enjoyments of The Pinball Arcade), I still like those themes. Either way, I won't complain. I just enjoy seeing more tables every month whatever they are.

Yeah the early card game machines are so much alike. The newer ones are much better. I do like the pool tables considerably more though as I first started out playing pool as a kid and never tire of a good pool game. Card game machines are like the Clown machines...there are just far too many of them. :D

Not only that, but as I said on the other thread, last October's pack had Big Shot. So if this October's pack will follow the same way, we might see any of those three tables paired up with Eight Ball Deluxe. It's highly likely since it has been mentioned by Bobby quite a few times on recent interviews.

I still think it'll be EBD and TFTC, considering Gary Stern's accidental slip-up of the latter.

Table Pack 19 Speculation

For 19, I'm going with Fish Tales and Sorcerer. (Note:18 is tee'd off and haunted house.)

Tales From the Crypt and either Victory or Ace High. I am going to go with Ace High just to be different.

I wonder if they'll repeat what they did last year, with a billiards-theme game and a halloween game? If so, then Class of 1812 and Eight Ball Deluxe is my guess. Otherwise, I'd make another guess off of the next newsletter this month.
