Hey guys, the boys over at VPUniverse.com have been busy working on an open source PIN2DMD solution that works with Virtual Pins and Real Pins. The cost of this solution is around $100-120US per DMD including solder work.
basically all you need is:
1. the RGB panels
2. STM32F407 discovery board...
Another Kick-starter? Really? Just cover the 54K license fee and recoup your investment in millions of tables sales :)
This will allow you to release the table sooner then Sept 2016!
Yeap, I agree. I was hoping that the Devs at FS were reading this and just open it up in the code quietly so the DMD just starts working day :) The code is already in there, it's just a few zeros they need to change to one's :)
I can dream dammit!
Hey guys, has any attempt been made to hack into the DMD code and output to a real DMD as most of us with cabs have a real DMD installed? I have seen videos of farsight demoing a cab with a working STTNG DMD a few years ago so they had it going. Or better yet, just ask them to open it up on the...
Hey NOEX thanks for your update, that looks crazy!. Do you think it would be possible to work with RavArcade the BAM developer as you guys seem headed in the same trajectory with the projects you are working on with respect to VR and the Oculus Rift. Check out his latest feedback on BAM with...
Hey Robert, yes using head tracking with the Rift. An amazing Virtual Reality mod was created last year that worked great with the Oculus Rift that hooked into the app to provide a full VR experience when playing. I am pretty sure Farsight hired this guy to develop and code their VR version of...
Hey guys, I finally got the FreeCamera Mod working with PinballX 2.1 with all 66 TPA tables and its working great with the Backglass and DMD positioned in bottom middle on my VirtuaPin. I have been trying to resize the DMD on the backglass from the default size to make it bigger so it matches...
Can someone who has PinballX loading straight into a TPA table share their PinballX setup screen? I cannot get it to load either. Thanks for your help!
Just use a DK2, no cabinet required:

Farsight, needs to integrate this devs code into their Pinball Arcade config file for Dk2 since he released the source code into the public domain, it should be easy to see what he has done. Come on boys, make...
Yeah it was pretty cool. The guys were pretty open to discuss pretty much anything. Lots of patches coming for the PS4 (audio will be fixed) and the no ETA on the PC lighting patch!
Really no need, once they play test it tomorrow in the lab they will notice it immediately. The sound has no fidelity and is very staticky when you crank the volume. They must of tweaked something on the build to cause this, should be an easy fix!
