As for you're flailing non-pinball friend, practicing the trap will sooner than later demonstrate it's effectiveness at scoring. Take-cover-and-aim generally defeats running-out-guns-blazing.
Wonderful topic, traps are important to slow the momentum of a game that's slipping away from your control. However many shots are easier to hit on the fly or from a partial trap.

I'm surprised at the comments by people that don't look at the leaderboards. I'm generally not happy until my score's in the 30's or better, and by then I know the top 10 are all multi-hour marathons.

While trying to polish up my tpa skills, I decided it didn't matter if I was logged in, and therefore leaderboard scores wouldn't show up. Just wondering how many other people do this.
