Bug Black Knight 3rd ball gets stuck past multiball chute

BK across all platforms has more bugs than a Motel 6 roll-away. Three years ago, TPA promised a switch from a scripted table to emulation. We're still waiting.

    Surprisingly Good

Keep the right flipper up when the ball comes out of the right-hand kick-out hole. You'll be able to do a catch every time and thereby be able to aim more accurately at targets.

    El Dorado; First Impressions

Score Reel Emulation Not sure anyone else has noticed yet, but this is the first EM table Farsight has done that more accurately emulates the look and feel of an EM's scoring reels. On all previous EMs, the reels step through their values too smoothly. El Dorado looks more like the original EM...

    Hooray!

Fireball First Looks One of Farsight's best efforts (aside from the iOS issue). Brought me back to age 18 or so when I drove 20 miles to play it at the State Line Truck Stop on the NY/MA border. The zipper flippers are great, the spinning disc maddening and excellent multi-balls. It's a drain...

    Hi gang!

Welcome aboard. Yeah, it can be pretty tough finding real tables these days unless you live in a major city. Often when you find one, they're in dreadful condition, which is one reason most operators don't want them. They are a real maintenance headache for the small-time venue. Hopefully you'll...

    Updated Black Knight

New Black Knight update. Items that have been noticed so far: Magna-save physics much improved. Ball now wobbles as it is caught by the magnet. More accurate lighting emulation, although still missing the strobe preamble for multi-ball. Seems the sound volume has been increased slightly on...

What was the best year for pinball?

Being an old fart, I'd argue that the best years were late 60s to early 70s. Only because most arcades instead of having a 6 or 7 machines had a couple of dozen. Then again, one could argue that the beginning of the mega-mall era was prime as an arcade could be found in every single one.

    Pitch n Bat

I wonder if any thought has ever been given to doing a classic EM Pitch n Bat table. Certainly wouldn't be as many game details as a regular pin, but from a historical standpoint, would be cool to have one.

    New Black Knight bug

This has been fixed in the latest update. Also, could be just my imagination, but it seems that degree of difficulty has been tweaked a bit. Used to have no trouble racking up 8-10m. After 40 or 50 games since the latest update, can barely manage 3-5m.

Yet another one from Upstate NY!

Welcome fellow upstater. Albany is only a few hours away from Pinball Wizard in New Hampshire.

    New Black Knight bug

It simply doesn't activate at all. The light illuminates, but the activate button does nothing. Yeah, I installed TPA primarily for this table, but the emulation leaves a lot to be desired and it's buggier than a Motel 6 mattress. Pity they let things go forever without fixes.

    New Black Knight bug

Just updated TPA to latest version. Right hand Magna-Save will no longer activate. Samsung Galaxy 3 7.0 platform. Occurance: always.

Crashing after the new update? Click here

Crashing after new update Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Wifi Logged into TPA Google Play On GPS On Crash occurs right after starting app. Restarting app, runs fine.

    Pinball Wizard Arcade 1/4/15

Didn't know they had a Simpsons Pinball Party. I made my first trip there this past October and played the Simpsons Data East table. My only gripe was there wasn't a single EM game in the room. Minor issue, but it would have been nice to play one. Also, Black Knight was in need of a trip to the...
