For anyone interested, the update history listed for this patch is below, in all its glory.
"Various fixes."
That's two words more than even I expected.
When sony provided the specification for patch releases, you would think they might have intended the developer to utilise the update...
Intentionally at Sony's request, and yet it still took 4 months to get through the pipeline? How is it that something that fails to meet sony network guidelines is allowed to remain unpatched for so long?
More interestingly, what guideline does it not meet? (Possibly there is a blanket...
I think FS are just hoping we'll all go away. Every time I bring this up on the FB page I get tumbleweeds, it's a complete joke. How this made it past basic QA in the first place just baffles (not just the audio, leaderboards are all kinds of broken as well, other issues have been well...
I recall experiencing this on occasion, but I found that the leaderboard entries were simply delayed (or possibly, out of date leaderboards had been cached). The next time I checked the leaderboards my scores were present as they should have been.
I really don't understand Sony's reluctance to publish patches in a more timely manner. It's not like there are a lot of games available so early in the consoles life, so there can't be much competition for resources when it comes to approving the patches themselves - and I suspect there isn't...
I read about this issue just two days ago, and then it happened to me yesterday evening while playing Need For Speed Rivals.
I didn't have cloud syncing activated, so I have no previous backups to speak of.
Thankfully, I was able to get straight back into the game and no apparent loss of...
The transparent box shaped object around the clock is exactly as you say, a transparent box. This existed on the original TZ machine, possibly made from perspex. Not sure how it looks on the PS3 version, but you're right - it does make the clock appear a little blurry/faded. Possibly...
Agreed. This is a frequent and annoying bug. Even if it is minor, it's these minor but seemingly simple issues that reflect badly on the overall quality of the product (which is otherwise, pretty damn good IMHO).
In my experience of frame rate issues (in general), if there is no *obvious* in-game cause of dropped frames, then it pays to consider options outside of the in-game experience. Discounting any hardware differences, and ignoring wether some people do or don't experience these issues, it's...
Wow, that's quite odd. IIRC the PS1 certification process had requirements that the game pause when the controller becomes disconnected. I would find it hard to believe this isn't a requirement for the PS3 in similar scenarios - seems like Sony's certification isn't what it used to be, despite...
Thanks Flippy. Much appreciated.
Got another one for you. This time regarding local multiplayer (I suspect this has been reported previously, as it's pretty easy to reproduce.
I first encountered this with Bride of Pinbot (but the 'share' functionality for some reason hadn't recorded like it...
I've cross posted this on the TPA Facebook page... Not sure which the better forum is for bug reports, but here it is all the same...
Three bugs here (maybe 4).. as captured in the attached video on Attack From Mars. The first few are minor.. #3 hurt.
Video here...
So I've only recently discovered TPA, very pleased to finally be able to relive the Twilight Zone on the iPhone.. and stoked to hear it's coming to the PS4. I understand the sentiments from frankiedf, but I very much doubt TPA has any control over the situation, nor much information about it...
