Mac Version 3.2.0 Discussion and Feedback

That's good news. I might buy it now. I guess I'll go see if the update is available. It wasn't there an hour ago.

Wizard Goals help for Pinball Arcade Players

I finally got it after about 200 games, half of them consciously trying to make that one shot any chance I got. Definitely a wizard goal. Ironically, I got it a second time without trying about 45 seconds later and one more time since then. [shrug]

Wizard Goals help for Pinball Arcade Players

That seems to be the only possibility. There's a very fine line between a perfect ramp shot and a brick. I just can't seem to find that sweet spot. It's frustrating, because in the process of playing so many games trying to get that shot, I've probably accomplished three of the wizard goals.

I'm still stuck on the sneak attack.

    Mac - Bug Impossible backhand

MAYBE, if you were playing with a properly grooved super ball, it would be possible to get just the right spin on the ball to make it possible. :-)

    Mac - Bug Impossible backhand

It should not be possible to make the whirlpool shot from the top right flipper. OSX 10.9.1 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 Not sure how often this happens, but it has happened more than once. Probably happens on other devices as well.

Apple Delay Frustration (Derailed by Driveway Cheese after Post # 81)

By requesting a refund, you are just giving Apple ammunition to use against FS. "See, your customers are not happy and it's making more work for everyone."

Mac Version 2.10.0 Discussion and Feedback

You're right, it would suck. I'm not the only one that wouldn't do it, either. I'll pick and chose the tables that are done right in future releases. I'm not buying ANOTHER copy of them, especially on the same platform.

Mac Version 2.10.0 Discussion and Feedback

The double cue ball aberration was enough to make me leave that pack on the table. First ones I didn't buy for my Mac.

    High CPU and settings?

My early 2011 MBP has no problem running TPA onto a Thunderbolt Display full screen with Anti-aliasing at 8X and post processing on for those tables that it doesn't over brighten. I have never seen a difference with immediate mode on or off so I leave it off. The fan comes on, but doesn't quite...

Something that doesn't make sense to me.

Early on in the development, FS said they were essentially making a framework of standard methods and references that would make it easier to build tables as time goes on. I take that to mean that things that can be replicated from one table to the next would be. An example of that would be the...

    Mavericks Update

On further research, the only tables that are in the app each time I reload it are the release tables and the last two. All other tables have to be restored each time the app is restarted. Some good news for me, I can now play most of the tables in fullscreen mode at the highest resolution that...

    Mavericks Update

Mine work, but all of my goals and high score data are gone. Guess I'll just start again. It's like getting a whole new game.

    Bug S-k-i-n-s-!

It could also be that there should be a switch on the ramp from the volcano to the flipper. If that switch were present, it would satisfy the machine that the ball made it out of the VUK.

    I just bought TPA OSX...

Once the ball is in play, space toggles the camera lock. "/" and "z" are nudge left and right. "a" and " ' " are for special buttons like the magna save on Black Knight. I always have to play in true fullscreen mode. Otherwise, it plays in slow motion. You are right, this version could...

A warning for those wanting to remain at iOS 6.x.x

When I tried to restore from iTunes, it said that it would not restore the firmware, only the software, I took that to mean I would be spinning my wheels.

A warning for those wanting to remain at iOS 6.x.x

I despise the ios7 interface. I think it looks like crap. Since I have an iPhone 4, I don't get very many of the new toys. I just get an ugly phone. I think it is pretty ****ty that I can't revert to 6.1.3. They could at least off us a window to change our mind. Steve Jobs is going to haunt Jony...

    Bug Mac Version 2.7.0 Bugs

I have reported this to FS and they said they tested it on their machine with no issues. It is still ongoing on mine, though. I have stopped posting scores on FB. Nobody was looking at them, anyway. :(

    Anti Aliasing works!

Night, you can just partition the remaining space on the existing hard drive. Disk utility is good for that.
