    DX11 slow performance?

We have three computers in the house we game on: -Last week, I built an i5-4690k with an nvidia GTX 970. -We have an i5-2500k with an nvidia gtx 660 ti. -And the kids use an i5 2400 paired with a Radeon 7770. And the Radeon hasn't had one lick of problem (nor have the other two, for that...

TPA on Windows 7 Looks Awful

Time for the obligatory question: what are your system specs and what is the actual problem you're encountering?

    system requirements

I have that exact card in our older gaming PC down in the basement, and run everything at the highest possible settings with not a problem, Nightwing. Unless your processor and memory are severely lacking, you should probably be fine doing the same, and enjoying the electronic eye candy.

    What's Better, TPA or VP?

I've been playing the various versions of Visual Pinball since it came out. Love it; it's not perfect, but I've always had a great time with it. But, when a table which I have on VP is released on TPA, I have a tough time going back to the VP version. Seems like an exciting time in VP, though...

Steam Summer Sale starts June 19th

I don't know what FS will do, nor am I telling people how to spend their money... However, when it comes to Steam sales, I never buy anything unless it's 75% off. That's just me, though.

What is the most overrated table in TPA?

For me, it would Creature From the Black Lagoon. I don't even know if it's fair to say it's overrated, as I don't know how popular it is, but from playing the real table to playing on TPA, I've just never like it very much. I always thought it was cluttered and offered very little room to do...

    PAPA Fathom Tutorial

You're not the only one. Fathom is an old favorite of mine.

    I'm getting Star Trek Pro!

Amazing present. When I was 14, my parents bought me a new ball glove... And I was thrilled! lol

Request Any chances to see more Stern tables in TPA?

I tend to agree. When my kids see me play, they can't fathom for a moment why I would play a table that doesn't have a DMD on it. To them, that's the line in the sand between pinball being great or it looking like a relic that would be no fun at all. Me? I was born in 1973, and I always enjoyed...

PC - Bug Will post processing ever be fixed?

I split my TPA time between two computers: -Upstairs HTPC which has an nVidia GTX 660 Ti. Post-processing works perfectly. Well, everything does, actually. -Downstairs, I have another PC, but that one has my older Radeon 6850. This one also works without issue. That one is my favorite on which...

The On-Going "What has FarSight said about ___ table?" List Thread

For my part, when Cue Ball Wizard was released, I was soooo disappointed that it wasn't Eight Ball Deluxe. Really let down, actually.

Would you like to see original tables?

Laugh at me if you will, but I would love to play TPA versions of old Pinball Illusions/Fantasies tables: Stones 'n Bones, Nightmare, Party Land, etc.
  14. S

Why is this table so addictive?

Oh good, it's not just me, because my kids think I'm crazy to play it so much. SH

PC - Request Pay twice for different platforms?

I just don't see how it's greed to charge customers for tables on one version (Android) and then charge them for a completely different version which also had its own costs to create (PC). I don't remember feeling ripped off when I bought DVD versions of movies I already owned on VHS. For my...

    Mike Reitmeyer Appreciation Thread

Will join in the chorus here to thank Mike for all of his hard work, but also to thank all team members involved for the same. You guys have delivered an incredible product through more than a bit of adversity.

    Important

Man... This guy had SO many hours in which to email Mike, and here it is at the end of this fellow's workday, and nothing yet. Not even a "We're working on it" waiting from hours back. Must be very frustrating, Mike. Sorry to hear it.

Remember back when Chuck E Cheese used to be good?

Until last weekend, when we took our daughter to another kid's birthday party, I'd never been Chuck E Cheese... Was not impressed. I do, though, remember the Edmonton Bullwinkles in Belvedere very well, and also the crap robotic band going on. lol

    Important

Sounds like the West Brother racing sim that was supposed to be spiritual successor to Grand Prix Legends, circa 1999. They spent years teasing with new screenshots of cars, garages, descriptions of what they wanted to do, "bold future" kind of stuff. Vaporware. lol

    Important

You must have been in my house, when I said the very same thing to my wife last summer. I completely accept that "stuff happens" when making a product, and I've never complained about it, even when I become a bit frustrated. When those times happen, I try to remind myself that if I'm put out...
