Ghostbusters on PS4! Even better, it is included in the pack with Mustang and the other tables! Now, every table is available in my Stern Pinball Arcade! Still lost $8 not buying the disc version back upon release, but still happy.
I'd be happy to have an update every three months. Ghostbusters has had a placeholder since December, and we still don't have a firm date yet. The program itself also hasn't been updated.
Yes, the difference between Pro and Premium seems to be widening with each new release, but so far the only time I've heard of the Premium and LE versions significantly differing was the Hulk LE of Avengers, which, in addition to a green DMD, had 6 ball multiball instead of the 4 ball mode on...
This is quite common. The PS3 versions of Mortal Kombat (2012) and Street Fighter X Tekken had extra characters (1 for MK, 5 for SFXT) that were not in the 360 and PC versions, yet they were all the same price at launch.
RBION always one of the more faithful of the early, Season 1 tables. It was more forgiving than a real table, but not changed nearly as badly as TZ, the Elvira tables, and especially BOP, all of which barely resembled the originals.
Tables since STTNG have been more faithful, with only...
Besides the table graphics and the look of a few toys (particularly AC/DC's cannon), is there a difference between the LEs and Premiums, such as different rules, more balls in multiball, or physical features that significantly affect gameplay?
I would have bought the disc version if I knew GB would be part of it. I could have saved $8 off the price of buying both packs with Amazon's pre-order offer.
Since Ghostbusters has been confirmed as part of Pack 2, if we were to buy said pack prior to release, would Ghostbusters be added free of charge when it does come out, or would I be better off waiting until GB is actually released before buying?
I know it will never happen, but after seeing Batman 66 in action, I can't help but think how awesome a LOTR remake would be with a full color LCD and other enhancements, such as a full orchestral score, and more sound snippets from the film so the same ones don't play every time; even two that...
That's what I heard too. One of the developers, in a podcast, said that Disney refuses to even talk with FS to discuss licensing deals. That means, unless the Stern partnership changes things, we're going to miss out on a lot of great tables, in addition to Indy there's also Iron Man, The...
Frame rate drops on PS4 version, particularly on AC/DC, where it's frequent. Also, small complaint, but on the ST Match screen, the score that appears which is used to determine the match number is always the same score, and never what I actually got during the game.
I've noticed that on the PS4 version of SPA, the framerate drops to as low as ten frames a second at certain points (particularly when the ball bounces around at high speed). AC/DC is the most frequent offender by far, both in frequency and severity, though it shows up to some degree in other...
Full color software will require a lot more power to emulate and still run the game smoothly. Remember how they said the power requirements of the old Pinball 2000 games made it impossible for then-current gen systems? Even though that was one system generation ago, it's possible that not even...
This is one of the dumbest quotes I've yet heard . . . unless you don't like AC/DC, then I can see this game being pretty unbearable. BTW, the lower playfield is accessible in any mode by hitting enough flashing devil horn shots.
