Not really. It comes down to aspect ratio.
Your best bet in that regard would probably be a 24" 16:10 screen with 1920x1200 resolution (instead of 16:9 1920x1080).
I have a 27" screen and I find portrait mode quite large to comfortably sit infront at regular screen distance.
Junkyard (at least on iOS and purely cosmetic):
On the enhanced table version the screws on the roof of the magic bus are not animated with the bus when the bus moves.
Party Zone (at least on iOS and purely cosmetic):
Screws on bumper caps seem to be duplicated, one set moves down with the pop...
...only winners and losers here...
Garou is a game I keep coming back to, as well.
I'm not good at it or anything but was quite fond of it all those years ago when I discovered it through NeoGeo emulation. Now obviosly it's available on pretty much every platform.
I thought so, too (bought three packs out of five that I was still missing)... no luck so far unfortunately. The tables don't even show up in FX2 on XBOX ONE for me let alone FX3.
I know that Funhouse exists in a System 11 and WPC version but I don't think a DMD was planned for it.
T2 was the first one designed with DMD but Gilligan's Island was the first to actually be released if I remember correctly.
Exactly. The changes are very small and unless you know what to look for hard to spot.
I still think they should not have been neccessary in this day and age but they certainly don't ruin the experience.
I think as far as tabacco and alcohol goes the changes were required to keep the rating but...
So far I really like it!
Some tables feel really floaty though (especially starship troopers).
I think the immediate login requirement after start probably hurts the player base and they could better show off the table lighting / engine capabilities (which can look really nice) by lowering the...
View 2 almost exclusively.
Sometimes (especially while I'm new to a table) I cycle through views to get a better understanding of the table layout.
I wish there was a higher up version of "view 5" in landscape mode... I like how the view does not scroll but only sway up and down following the...
I enjoyed SPA on Gear VR... more than PB FX2 VR actually because it had slightly better performance on my s7 edge.
I'll try the Rift version and if they don't mess it up completely I'm going to buy it.
I am excited for this but I have learned to manage my expectations so I'm not exactly hyped.
Future Pinball was using 200k+ polygons (strictly triangles) 10 years ago on an average modern style table at the highest quality settings... but obviously polycount isn't everything.
View 8 would be great if it were higher up and looking down steeper on the table, the angles of the slings/flippers/return lanes just look weird, almost orthographic, as ImperiousStout said.
Pro Pinball Timishock Ultra got it right for that view in my opinion...
Right now my biggest gripe with PB FX is that I can't seem to find a view I really like for the WMS tables.
So my question is: are they planning on adding more views or adding a feature that allows individual, adjustable camera angles?
(Talking about Landscape mode here)
I end up playing in...
I'd also really like to know that... some games had features during prototyping that were cut from the final game and it would be a cool *option* to have those in.
Farsight always said they were not allowed to add anything back in that was not part of the production run, I wonder if that has...
