The physics are off with this table. It's difficult to aim the flippers at least on the PC Steam version. Compare this table with say Indy 500, that table has great flipper control.
I'm getting very poor resolution on my wide screen ips monitor. The game looks fine with steam but with the 360 there are lots of jaggies and artifacts.
okay, I finally got x360ce to work. The trick is even if you're on Win7 x64 you have to use the 32bit libraries and install the x86 'Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3'. Then, presto, bango instant 3 billion score on Twilight Zone!

comment: I've been playing almost exclusively Twilight Zone and during every game the screen will randomly go black. Sometimes I can fiddle with the keyboard or...
Thanks for the suggestion rob3d, I'm having trouble configuring x360ce. Do I put in the the general Steam folder or the specific Pinball Arcade folder? I've tried both and still no analog control or nudge action.
Hi, anyone know how to get the plunger and nudging to work via the analog controls? I got the flippers working but that's it. Thanks.
BTW, I've been playing Twilight Zone so far and it's pretty darn good. I can feel the weight of the ball much better than the mac version.
I get the same slow down problem whether I'm in full screen mode or windowed mode. I've tried different settings (anti-alias any setting, immediate mode, post processing, lock to 30fps on or off, level of detail 1 or 2) and I still get the same game slow down. Once in a while the app will act...
@Tuomas, yes some ps3 console users report a delay
@CrazyCoder, are you using an official wireless remote receiver or a third party one, cause all I can find are third party units now. Thanks.
Hi, I'm curious if anyone here is using an xbox 360 controller via the wireless remote receiver with their mac version of TPA? Is there any kind of delay when pressing the buttons like PS3 people are suffering? Thanks.
Hi, here are two early 1980s games that are very fun and addictive. Both are Williams tables. My guess is that the licensing wouldn't be super expensive for them.
Cosmic Gunfight
Blackout
I also agree. The upgrades are great. The feel of the flippers and ball control has much improved. I got 6 billion on Bride of Pinbot on my third game. Theatre of Magic has better physics too. Thanks so much.
Don't let the ill-mannered griping on facebook get you down, you're doing a fine job...
