Just the odd one? None of the normal females? ;)
The PC I've built for my not-yet-constructed cab has two video cards. One is a GeForce GTX 750ti with two HDMI outs (though I'm only using one...more on that later). The other is a GeForce GT 610.
Card 1 - being by far the better card - drives...
Agreed. The problem with FarSight's choices is that they're inconsistent. Having this tool to just tweak those tables that need tweaking is outstanding, and your top-down views provide a good jumping-off point for making those adjustments.
Oh...my...god...
Thanks so much, NoEx. This is quite literally a game-changer. And I'm so glad you were so easily able to incorporate my suggestion about multiple cameras attached to hotkeys. It works extremely well for desktop and I can't wait to try it on my pre-build cabinet PC. :)
And now that you've chosen an arm, here's some software that'll make the transition from landscape to portrait as easy as a hotkey:

Been using this for years at work and installed it on my cabinet PC to allow me to run PBA with PinballX.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort that went into giving us DX11. Having played with the beta, it's definitely a huge improvement over the present version.
But as someone who's been begging for cab mode for two years now, I'm just saying...they're not getting my money for the Steam...
Fair enough. I only got on the DX11 train yesterday after the facebook post (I hadn't lurked here in quite a while) so I incorrectly assumed that feature was already available as it was in the DX9 builds.
While I have you here, NoEx, with your mod would it be possible to tie user presets to...
Anyone can play in portrait mode...just rotate your desktop and run the config utility.
Cab mode with a proper top-down view, now that's a different story and NoEx's mod appears to be the only solution at the moment.
Yeah...NoEx was one of the people to whom I was referring, but his utility only solves part of the problem for the vast majority of cabinet owners. It's also further proof that FarSight are really twiddling their thumbs on delivering cab mode.
It's the VP/FP/Unit3D communities which have really...
None to me. As someone who's just getting a pincab build underway, I'll be sticking with the Android app until cab support is added to the Steam version. I mean, look...these are far-and-away superior to any of the digital pins that are out there for VP or FP or U3D. But I've already dropped...
I caught a spelling mistake on the table history. What it says is "It puts players in the roll of a Director...". Roll is the wrong word. Should be "role".
For the record, I just hit The Mamushka in Junk Yard's Time Machine and was disappointed to hear Raul Julia's voice had been subbed out. That said, I've never played Junk Yard in the real world so I have no idea if that's how it's always been.
That's where over-promising and under-delivering becomes problematic, Jared. Whoever is making the promises on facebook should probably wait til these things are past the drawing board stage before announcing their imminent arrival.
That said, I agree that a roadmap isn't a feasible idea. Just...
