    Too easy tables (PC version)

Thanks Loafer. Likewise, great to hear from you. I'll come to VP Forums one of these days. Cheers man!

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Thanks for the reply man. Wasn't aware that BK is running real ROMs now. I have to check that out asap. It's such a classic and it looks just incredible in TPA. I think it'd be extremely easy to just make a the games harder. Just an option that automatically installs the hardest dip switches to...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Returning to this tread after a few years. PacDude amazing... what's up my old buddy? Great to hear from you. Didn't see your original reply until now. Just updated my TPA to latest version. Nothing has changed, really. I still love TPA but can't play certain tables because they're so...

    Top 3 Showdown: Farsight's Official Pre-1980 Poll

I love them all but Paragon without a doubt. Hopefully it will get genuine ROM support. Black Knight, for example, is totally dreadful without it.

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Is there any chance to get a ROM support for some of the Solid State tables, like Black Knight? It feels SO fake now. Cheers. Another request (as per the subject title): It would be nice to get more challenging skill levels like a global "PRO" setting like something. I'd play this more but...

Pinball Arcade too easy and unchallenging

There was already a thread about this: http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/6521-Too-easy-tables-%28PC-version%29 Yeah... I totally agree. Most tables in the PC version are ridiculously easy and completely ruin the experience for me.

Any hope some high (hacker's) scores will be erased?

Black Hole in TPA is so easy that I grew a beard while waiting for the ball to drain. You can literally play it forever.

Dip switches in Pro Mode will not get saved?

Seems to be working. Pro mode should be implemented to each and every table though. Getting constant extra balls in Funhouse kills the table for me... it's way too easy. PS: How can I erase the high score tables? I mean the ones here. What's the file that has to be erased? I'd like to get them...

    Season 3 released on Steam

Is the operator menu bug now fixed? http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/6582-Dip-switches-in-Pro-Mode-will-not-get-saved

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Funhouse is a real disappointing table because of the difficulty level (non existent). And it's even more disappointing because the table itself looks incredible... really well made... and it plays fairly good too. It's just so ridiculously easy whereas the real machine was a real pain in the...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

If the tables have to be super easy, please at least fix the dip switches so we could get rid of the ridiculous amount of extra balls. I think I played Funhouse for over an hour... the extra balls just kept coming and it was really a challenge to get the ball drained. Now the dip switch...

    Death saves are possible

Does the ball actually drain in Black Hole? I think grew a beard waiting it to happen. That's gotta be the easiest video pinball I've ever played.

    Scared Stiff Pro

This is a major bug in the program. Dip switches won't get saved anywhere. You have to redo the changes each and every time you access the table. Hilarious, huh? http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/6582-Dip-switches-in-Pro-Mode-will-not-get-saved

Dip switches in Pro Mode will not get saved?

I just set all my tables (that has the pro mode) to give minimum amounts of ex.balls and changed replay awarding just credit (instead of ex.ball). This was done in the operator's menu (which I'm familiar with). But when I restart Pinball Arcade, all the settings are gone and back to the super...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Well put JPelter. Exactly my thoughts. I don't understand the whole argument about "elitism" or "god-like players". They're not excuses... some tables in TPA are MUCH easier than their real life counterparts. Period. If achieving the genuine-like gameplay and difficulty level isn't even the...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

I wasn't aware that anyone in this thread said the tables "suck". If the developers won't get any feedback of its obvious problems how could the product improve? I'm sure the devs appreciate constructive criticism from people who have actually played the real machines. Most people I know who...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Ok fair enough. I understand that approach. Personally, I'm an "arcade player" through and through. I just compete against myself and play for fun... I'm not interested in online tournaments, wizard modes and all that... I'd like to set up the difficulty myself. Just simple dip switch, slope &...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Really? I joined the circus on my fourth game today. ie. completed the game. Cirqus Voltaire is still easy. But to be fair, the real machine is almost as easy to complete. It's not a difficult table by any means. But tables like Black Hole, Gofers and Medieval Madness on TPA are simply wrong...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

I was involved with over 50 Visual Pinball table recreations and I guarantee that things like increased slope and flipper length alone play a huge role. It requires a lot of testing and playing to make a difficulty level that's challenging without being frustrating and unfair. But it's...

    Too easy tables (PC version)

Cirqus Voltaire is very good conversion. Just played a few games and had tons of fun. Difficulty is pretty much like the real thing... which is one of the easiest Bally/WMS tables anyway. I wouldn't change anything on that. Strange that you find TZ so easy JPelter. I haven't scored much on...
